No. I can’t say I’ve ever heard of it before and I had zero understanding of the difference before today. I always chalked up the delay to turbo lag and mitigated it by feel or by downshifting early.

Or a hybrid. Instant on torque in the low end. Good cruising capability. Extended range. Decent economy? Perhaps?

I was thinking much the same thing. If it were my project, I’d yank out as much of the existing wiring as is practical and install new off the shelf parts and wiring for the basic systems to make it road worthy (provided the frame is good).

Ah... See that makes sense. Certain types of sealant should stand up to it better. Probably factory clear coats are your polyurethane or epoxy type and can handle it.

Yes... it is much more diluted, but it never gets rinsed off, either.
