It’s a bit too much to explain, but most of it has to do with balls.

They’re going to time jump and then spend the entirety of the season in fragmented flashbacks showing what happened in the time that was jumped over.

I read it and I agree.

Cinemascore really only reflects audience expectations based on the marketing. Movies like the recent God’s Not Dead, I Feel Pretty, Show Dogs, and Tyler Perry’s Acrimony all have high scores but I have to imagine those audiences knew exactly what they were getting into and wanted those types of films. 

The Uproxx interview on the subject is even more depressing.

I agree with every criticism of this review: the vapidness of the characters, the fruitlessness of the multiple timeline audience mindfucking, the rarity of Emily’s now-lost sane voice, and the meaninglessness of anti-platitudes moaning about the darkness inside. In a way, while I’m fine with a grade of B+ for this…

Why is Dolores so bad this season? Performance? Writing? I can’t figure it out. She was incredible throughout S1 and now she’s the worst part of the show.

I’m pretty sure I just commented on an Adam Reed interview which was not supposed to be published today and which totally spoils the end of the season.

So, Adam Reed will never finish his story is what I’m getting from that.

To be fair to Hirsch, he did this back in 2015, when we didn’t know it was wrong to choke a woman out at a party and never apologize for it. Is it fair to judge historical figures by present-day standards?

In regards to the viewership drop, I feel like this has more to do with pacing. Season 2 has been SO SLOW with so many episodes focusing on characters (Which is needed) without keeping in mind that the show must go on.

I’m way behind and nobody is going to read this, but I have to anyway: holy shit the karaoke scene made me happy.
