I’m all for EVs, but this is just a bad idea. Beyond the costs of building it, it’s going to waste a HUGE amount of energy jumping the gap from the coils to the receiver. It just doesn’t make sense.

Agreed. Shame on the drivers of the Accord, Ford, and the guy videoing and commentating. Nothing in that video should be celebrated.

To be clear, I think the single giant screen is bullshit. Having to go into a screen to open the glovebox is ridiculous. However, seeing the speed is not an issue on a Model 3. I got one as a rental in Orlando about a month ago and that screen for speed, gear, signal stays etc wasn’t an issue at all. They were all

Nice job with the snarky writing. Maybe next time you could put something together that doesn’t sound like it was written by a teenager. Trouble is, people who have spent time in the cars don’t care, it just isn’t an issue. Do you want to write the same thing for the Prius or Minis? Neither of them had a gauge cluster

My pants just shrunk. This is a dream come true that I’ll never afford.

I keep seeing this story around various sources. How is this even worth writing about? If your vehicle has recommended service intervals and you stretch past them, you’re not getting warranty service. Are you going to write about someone who didn’t fill their tank and the truck stopped on the side of the road next?

There’s got to be a couple extra digits in that price.

Ooops

You got me. Well done.

That’s not a thing, and I suspect you’re not piloting a pirate ship or aircraft. By covering one eye it messes with your depth perception and peripheral vision. Just don’t stare at the oncoming car’s headlights. If you want to be like a pilot, the guidance is that you turn up the instrument lights to full bright if

The end of your sentence is “behind someone who is 5’ tall.”

Absolutely. And they never stop calling once they get your number. Not a good experience.

I’ve just sold a 2002, and still have a 2011 WRX. The toy sound has been consistent since the beginning.

Like Tile?

I really liked my Tacoma. Unfortunately it’s also the only vehicle where I’ve driven somewhere and had my back completely lock up at the other end and not be able to get out of the thing.

Sounds perfect if they’ve solved the horrible seating position and seats of the existing Taco.

Because she’s fucking worth it. That’s why.

I had a 996 C4 for a few years. It was my vehicle of choice for picking up pizza. The radiators are just on the other side of the trunk and it gets warm in there, perfect for picking up pizza. Bonus for it being perfectly sized so they didn’t slide around much.

Lol. I’m a NH person, about 40mi from you. Funny that you say that I think Boston is the center of the world because I comment on an article about Boston with how the setup is in Boston. Where exactly would you like me to reference in a post about Boston? Seems like what happens in Portland ME is completely unrelated.
