It’s not broken if the thermostat doesn’t tell you it’s broke, right?”

What did you expect them to offer you?

Yup. When we learned of the recall with my wife’s 2020 Bolt we looked at a Mach-E at our local Ford dealer. Really loved it, and asked them to get me numbers on it. The car was miraculously marked up $3500 over what it said in the window. If it had been MSRP we would own a beautiful red MME right now. Instead I looked

It’s amazing how many people think their relationship with a company is about love and caring.

That is gorgeous. I have to continually remind myself that I love all the bikes in my garage and need to ride them more, not add another to dilute the ride time.

TIL the TSA checks out your junk when going through scanners. I had no idea.

Not listed: being kicked out of the WRX owner’s club.

That’s soooo Suzuki Kizashi.

I’ve owned 2 911s. They are just cars. Nice, fun cars, but they aren’t the magical beings that people in the PCA make them out to be.

Because it’s irrational to blame the company whose name is on the product? GMAFB. I also have a 2020 Bolt that is now sitting outside as a tropical storm approaches and I’m sure as hell blaming the company that slapped their logo on it. I didn’t buy anything from LG, I didn’t choose them to supply the battery, and I

Having bought both a manual and DSG MK7 GTI new, I can confirm that the DSG is better to drive. The manual is not a great transmission, the DSG is great.

Great looking bike. I’ve been toying with the idea of finding something similar for a sidecar rig, the telelever supposedly works very well with a hack. I love my Ural, but a more modern and powerful version would be a great addition to the garage.

Prelude was never AWD.

Back in 2015 my wife had 3 knee surgeries (1 on the right and 2 on the left). About 8 months later I drove her Odyssey to get some big things and she drove my MK5 GTI manual for the day. She drove manuals for years and was great at it. That night I had to help her climb the stairs and she limped for 3 days afterwards.

I fly an airliner. I also ride a Ural sidecar motorcycle (among other motorcycles). Those both seem fairly interesting.

Not that I know of, every car loan I’ve gotten says that they’ll do 105% of value but not more than that. Of course Kia’s own financing may do it or they are expecting to eat up all the equity in any trade.

It’s amazing that he managed to make worse ads than Merchants with their impersonators, but he did it.

After looking at a Stinger at Dan Obrien a couple of years ago I left feeling like I needed a shower and a strong drink to get clean. EVERY car on their lot is marked up, it’s just higher on the Telluride. The Stinger I looked at had a market adjustment of 3k ish on it in Spring of 2019. They mark it up as part of

Sounds like the only question is “what’s the fastest way to depreciate the most?”, then.

My father bought a new one of these that was actually fully loaded. Horrible to look at, blind spots that could hide a school bus, and a hideous shade of old man puke green color. I tried to talk him into an actual wagon, but my (at that time 60 year old) father said that wagons were “for old people” while I had an
