Excellent breath mint of a story.

Oh what the heck, I’ll laugh anyway!!!!

Just curious but who are your favorite MLB players now and who are your all time favorites?

Maybe this is cheating, but how about the absence of an invention? Living in a world where no one sees or hears an internal combustion engine would definitely seem like the future.

Once again the World War Z movie wins “Hall of Shame” awards.

“Football ain’t about rape! Its about violently dominating other people! They say no you just gotta take it!”

At this point my brain said, “Oh......yeah that seems about right.”

I’ll fire up the grill, you get going on the marinade.

The simplest and perhaps most boring of professions: The Clerk.

Clerk and its adjective form, clerical, actually derive from clerical or clergy as in a member of a religious order. It has its roots in the Middle Ages when bureaucratic work or anything else that required literacy, was done by the only people who were

“As the video begins, an unidentifed young black woman can be heard saying to Manhart, “That flag is not yours.” “Actually, it is,” Manhart replies.”

Therein lies the heart of American racism that the students were trying to protest. Black students were unable to use the flag in protest because it does not represent

“Honestly we never anticipated anyone citing religious beliefs to help people.” - Texas Lawmakers

I sincerely think Firefly still matters tremendously as an example of what drives ongoing interest (in the form of merch and comic books) after the life of a show. The fact that the show was cut down young is irrelevant. Sure the myth of a great program unfairly killed can bring to people to the show but what hooks

I've heard him described as Tory, which is a think a fair criticism.

I somewhat disagree on Nolan as a whole. I can watch the Prestige or Inception in just about any context. However, I still haven't been able to bring myself to watch Interstellar a second time and that's arguably the most Nolan-y Nolan movie.

I would disagree, there's enough good stuff in the original trilogy that lends itself to repeat viewings and the world is imbued with such intricate and practical detail that its look should age very well.

I'm going to guess the Nolan Batman films. Even today they're really more noted for Heath Ledger's Joker performance than for anything else. They've been picked apart by the legions of the internet for plot holes and overwrought Batman voice. All three are long, heavy films that don't necessarily lend themselves to

You're doing your eating before the game which automatically makes you a winner.

I live in Chicago and I have very specific rules for attending Cubs games verses Sox games. (Full disclosure I am a Sox fan so I have a rooting interest in only that team).

White Sox: New Comiskey park is beautifully situated with the Red Line, highway, and side streets all within easy distance. If you don't have

Well its not just him but people close to me personally who while not quite so loathsome, similarly use Christianity as a shield against awfulness.

They didn't have whips and didn't need them. All their workers were paid and probably received the best food and medical attention of their lives while on the job. Think WPA.

I'm going to come back to this later with a fine tooth comb but its seems like the author has hit upon a major and important thread, "Christians ruining the concept of faith."

I've had my own experiences of awful people using Jesus to justify continuing to be awful or worse yet, being convinced their awful actions are
