Yeah, my opinion is that, practically speaking, a smart lock’s security liabilities aren’t material. If you want to spend the money and know you should probably still carry a key, go nuts. My parents house, on a half acre in a suburban housing development, got burgled while we were on vacation. One neighbor was my best friend, the other, my parents were friendly with. Same with the neighbors across the street. No one noticed anything. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
