He cheated on her. That's why they broke up. She had talked about being ready to have kids shortly before he dumped her for Jolie.

Not by age. He's a millenial right at the cusp of genX, but yeah, by policy he's a boomer.
Wisconsinite here. This is sad, but it might be sad in the same way West Virginians think the death of the coal industry is sad, in which case- Environmentalist here, carry on.
I love this idea and wish I were having one more kid just to do this.
I don’t think this is accurate. I think they have the results of genetic tests or sonograms put in an envelope they take to the baker/florist/pilot? and they are surprised too. I am not 100% sure as I think they are crap.
SAME!
This is heartbreaking. I am heartbroken for the mom in this situation who just wants to raise her child to be healthy and happy.
She tweeted the word "hubby." That is all.
Thank you for sharing this Prachi. It is absolutely beautiful. I am so sorry for your loss. I always loved your work here, especially the story about your grandfather’s feminism. I'm looking forward to your book.
This week I had one of my students (19 or 20ish college kid) tell me they used to vape in 6th grade in class! I was shocked and now you are telling me the same thing, and now I have to figure out how to talk to my kindergartener about not vaping in an age appropriate way. Agh!
This is the most excellent idea ever. I am so sad that Ray Cohn is dead because he would own this thing. FYI, you can watch old episodes from 1988 on Amazon, if you can tolerate the Bezos evil. They are truly a treasure.
I have read Jezebel and lingered in the grays for a decade. The snark and grammatical errors that seem to be your signature are having me deeply reconsider my loyalty. I seriously wish you would reconsider using a mocking tone in every piece you write. Yes Alyssa Milano has immense amounts of white privilege but she…
I think the general idea of the article is that no one is to blame, except maybe car manufacturers who won’t add warning systems in. Furthermore, while the person maybe the cause of their babies death that does not mean that we can blame them, blame requires the moral standing to hold the person responsible and I just…
I’m not a lawyer, I’m an ethicist and there is a very good moral argument that the state has no legitimate reason to hold this person accountable for a mistake resulting from basic human error. I’m also pretty sure that this doesn’t really meet the requirements for manslaughter, but again, I’m not a lawyer.
The commenters here who think a parent who has had their child die tragically somehow needs to be held more accountable baffle me. I can think of no worse thing than losing my child. People have no empathy anymore.
Is not having your child die enough? Why would we punish a person who is suffering enough?
Having your child die a gruesome death from a horrible mistake seems like punishment enough.
Is your country the state of Wisconsin? Because here all divorces must wait until 6 months after legal separation is filed.
I do not click the links. I thought it was that Brandon Lee. Then I remembered he is dead and now my day is ruined.
🙋🏼♀️ dear candidates, I have tons of white privilege, I do not need you to pander to me, I will vote for literally anyone who is not Trump. Ideally I would like to live in a more just society, but it is not literally a matter of life or death for me, maybe focus on those for whom it is.
