Why not teach them to ask what a person prefers to be called then? It seems like assuming Mrs. or Mr. involves both gendering the person and not taking into account their preferences, not to mention women’s marital status.

My three year old loves pink. It’s his favorite color and it looks fabulous on him. At five months old all he really cared about was milk, so I guess he liked white?

Worked at Claire's in high school over 20 years ago and it is basically the latter. 

I appreciate that she calls out the bullshit of working “part-time” which basically means all the same duties but half the pay. I’ve known quite a few people who have fallen into that trap. Full time work and obligations of stay at home mom without compensation for either sucks.

Just to clarify, Tony Evers was elected Governor of Wisconsin, not just reelected to his post as state Superintendent.

I saw a sign in Milwaukee yesterday that was clearly up for the election. It said “Off paper, free to vote.” I believe it was effective in getting people who may not have realized they could vote to go vote.
