Oh hi?... šŸ¤£šŸ¤£ Thatā€™s me. Greys, no idea why. Iā€™m assuming you canā€™t even see this comment......

Fuck Nestle. I hope they rot in hell. Watch the CEO say that water is not s human right. Google ā€œNestle rumbles into townā€ to hear about their predatory behavior - they stole tap water from Freyberg Maine, also small towns in Colorado and California. They are poaching tap water and selling it back to residents atā€¦

Totally agree with you and thank you for bringing this up. One side note: the vast majority of violence like mass shootings is perpetrated by sane people. The mentally ill are much more likely to be the victims of violence. Also, being mentally unwell is different than chronic mental illness. Usually though itā€™s menā€¦

This right here is why you always have your cell phone charged and ready to record. God invented Yelp for a reason.

Makes me so glad I didnā€™t seek treatment when I smashed my head against the dashboard when our truck fell into a gully while doing field work. šŸ™„ (To be fair, we were in the middle of frigging nowhere at least 4 hours from any emergency clinic and I didnā€™t have access to a car that anyone would let me use). Now Iā€™mā€¦

Even watching at home with my husband, I put the phone away. If Iā€™m bored I can damned well go in the other room. However, we have ā€œmovie nightā€ with our friends, and almost always invite ā€œShmoeā€, a single guy with not much of a social life. He taps away on his giant Samsung half the time, and then asks a bunch ofā€¦

Itā€™s kind of obscene that parents need to be told this to begin with. If your kids are running through the restaurant, bothering diners or keeping servers distracted, you suck as a parent. Your child is not just your child, they are part of the community as well. Make sure they act like it.

Colder than a penguin on Mars fucking an iceberg.

I had late-disseminated Lyme disease for 2 years. Advice: donā€™t ignore rashes. As a kid who loved nature I always did, but now even a mild rash can be Lyme (there is no such thing as a Lyme rash, it can look like mild redness). Doxycycline is great and pulsing the antibiotics (and possibly the use of Claritin and aā€¦

Former veterinary nurse here. I think this writer should take photos of the untreated wounds, aggression and how much cage time these dogs are suffering. But he also needs to look out for himself. Non-behaviorists are often terrible at gauging signs of aggression. You could get bitten or, god knows the roommates couldā€¦

Nature guide here and sadly I also think many poor inner city kids donā€™t get the chance to see green spaces anymore.

Some of the poorest and most disadvantaged communities in the U.S. are Spanish-speaking. You donā€™t get a lot of impoverished French-speaking places, because most of those communities are white.

Actually this relates directly to science. We are missing a huge number of talented people due to discrimination. Unless youā€™re suggesting that people of color are naturally less intelligent than whites, then you understand that the field of science is suffering due to their absence. - Signed, someone with a Masterā€™sā€¦

Former veterinary nurse here. Take the cat as carry-on and consult a veterinarian (very important) before you fly. šŸ™‚

My husband and I watch with admiration as Lidia Bastianich cooks on Food Network and we know someone who visited her house and had her (apparently delicious) food. But how much did she know? Granted I do not like blaming women for people like Mario Rape Room Batali, but still Iā€™d like to find out.

Honestly? Iā€™d love to see an experiment where the best performing white kids go alone to an all-POC school. Will they step up and help their classmates? Raise these ā€œunderperformingā€ kids up? If theyā€™re so goddamned talented, why canā€™t they rise to the occasion?

Yup, your baby is a human being. And so are insurance people. And some of them are assholes. Or theyā€™re just stupid (or both). Not all of them get into the insurance industry for benevolent reasons / s

Dude. I saw Alien in the theaters when I was 8 years old (rural all-girlā€™s horse and swimming camp, older teens were in charge overnights and took us on elicit hayrides for ice cream and horror films during overnights). On the other hand, the kidā€™s book Watership Down scarred me for life. šŸ˜‚

Loneliness and poverty, going hungry, taking cold showers and not having electricity and looking like crap all the time. Yup, itā€™s one hell of a choice.
