It was always about money, I always talking about the ad revenue. Ever hear the phrase "time is money" Why do you think people have to clock in at work, so for they get paid for the time worked. Same thing here.

My opinion would be different if it were actually developed to be a good game. But it wasn't it was

Arcade games are scams, they always have been from penny and nickle games to Pac-Man through DDR. They are designed for the player to pump quarters into them. And year every ad-driven game is about that, it's just you know, some of the game actually not intentionally made bad. This game exists as money making

Yes we are, and if you take the amount time played and figure that into the revenue he made of each ad displayed for an hour(s) multiplied by how many people were playing for that hour(s) That is where (imo) the cheat comes in.

Seeing as Rare did not have these things programmed into Banjo-Kazooie then no we shouldn't

After the initial sale of the game Rare didn't make any money off of you or the your time spent playing Banjo-Kazooie. A better argument could be made using DLC or Microtransactions, and don't get me started on my feelings about Microtransactions.

Looks like I touched a nerve about Zynga lol, what did they do to you? xD And you're right they were, but outside of the initial sale of the game they weren't making any extra money off of the players time either. The difference here is, they hadn't had the idea to use telephone technology to have the Atari 2600 dial

Oh no I understood it, I understand it all too well. But then the debate/social experiment wouldn't have been any fun now would it?

Like a Boss.

Go to bed, dude it's 1:18 PM where I live, go to bed he says, lol.

who stated that I did? I certainly never did, never even came close to implying it ^_^.

my mistake, sorry about that misunderstanding. Nope, they are the same mentality but as Flappy BIrds and really unless the popular ones I never really liked arcades.

But my opinion nonetheless.

1. not angry at all, just stating things as I see them.
2.Also trying an experiment about how people will just pointlessly waste their time (only in this thread as opposed to Flappy Birds)

Make game impossibly hard, have ad's that make you money in the game, people get angry and try to prove to themselves that they just didn't get their ass handed to them. longer play time + more ads displayed over that amount of time = more money.

That's how, I am not saying it's illegal or anything because it isn't

It worked, judging by the fact that this has been going on for about an hour.

lol I never said anything about a fulfilling experience, I gave you the answer to the statement you made which was and I quote "Wow, did you get this pissed at Pac-man too? There's a shitload of games that can'e be won." Where in that statement is the words that would've lead to me to say Pac-Man's purpose was to be a

Screenshots or didn't happen, and people who still focus on the fact that game itself was free are entirely missing the point. At least I hope that is that case.

Effectively he did it by using Rope-a-Dope, also way to go (seriously no sarcasm) specifying movie in a theater as opposed to movie in a home which can just be background noise. It has been fun though seeing how many people this riled up, now if only I can make into a ad supported game. ;D

Stupid is as stupid does.

And who says a genius cannot also be a cheat? And who says a cheat cannot also be a genius? Riddle me this.

Someone obviously didn't read anything I have posted, I stated he made money from the adverts. I very clearly said that he cheated people out of their time. I never he cheated them out of their money. That is what all the vitriol is about. Though for that matter, time is money.
