I might have to pick this up for my wife’s special ed classroom. Some of them are suuuuper reluctant to read, but video games and an easy-to-digest format might change their mind.

I wasn’t able to take off work today or stand in line, so by noon everything was gone.

What are the odds I’ll be able to stroll into a GameStop in 2 hours on break and just purchase one of these?

But also, watch Blade Runner (DC).

Goth kids in space offering a scout rifle with black and white shaders?

Gone Home is definitely a walking simulator with a narrative. It’s worth checking out though. Provides a nice break from typical gaming.

FTNL - I lost my virginity when I was 18, right out of high school, with the girl I was dating at the time. I don’t remember a damn thing about the experience other than what I just mentioned. I’ve struggled to remember anything about that day, but I can’t. It’s all a blur and that’s okay.

I’m not going to lie, I grew up with the GameBoy and even I’ve made the mistake of trying to touch the screen to interact with it knowing full well that it doesn’t do a damn thing. We’ve been so conditioned by touch screens that it’s no big surprise.

That’s fair. I have like 4 GameStops within 3 square miles of one another (I don’t know why) and I’ve had to switch locations for the same reason over the years.

Honestly, it’s the personal level that keeps me going. GameStop sucks as a company, but its employees are pretty cool people that genuinely care about their customers (at least, the ones I go to). They’ve also managed to help me out when it comes to snagging hard to get Nintendo shit, going so far as to personally

What did I just watch?

Fuck, here comes the waterworks.

lol I don’t think anyone got that...

The best video game movie not based on a video game!

I think this is the major issue. I’ve certainly popped into a TRU quite a few times, even without kids, and I’m typically disappointed by the selection of toys they have. If they do manage to have something cool, I usually think about how I could get it cheaper online.

A nun-chuck-wielding clown with stretchy arms and the power to inflate herself into a balloon.

Nice! The line work really makes it pop.

I’m running out of display room, so small size sounds good to me lol. Nice panel lining on the other kits as well!

Nice! I’ve been thinking about getting that one because my wife would enjoy how closely it resembles something from Sailor Moon.

I just got into this like, maybe 2 months ago too. Eventually I’ll work my way up to full on painting and detailing.
