I understand that a lot of people don’t like and didn’t benefit from the ACA. It certainly isn’t perfect. But it upsets me that instead of wanting something better, so many people just want it gone and to take government completely out of it. Will we ever catch up to other countries with single payer healthcare or

There are a variety of people on my Facebook basically saying no one is allowed to be upset.

Yes. It was ridiculous enough that he was being taken seriously as a candidate but that he’s actually president? It’s like the position means nothing.

I’m so embarrassed by my country, this is just humiliating.

I honestly just didn’t let myself think Trump could win because how? How could the majority of this country vote for that? I am just shocked and sickened and I don’t even know what to think.

I’m in Oklahoma so there was no doubt my state would go to Trump too. And yes many people told me it was pointless to vote. But I don’t think I could have lived with myself if I wasn’t part of the small percentage of people in my state that voted for Hillary.

In Oklahoma they only passed a law allowing you to sell home baked goods a couple of years ago. Sales are limited to $20,000, are pretty restrictive to baked items, and cannot be done anywhere outside the home (so no festivals or anything or even online sales). I think that includes no bake sales unless it’s a charity

I voted for McCain in my first election but the fact he’d didn’t win makes me feel a little better about it.

I was 14 in 2003 but otherwise this is my life.

I was going to point this out also.

We always qualified for free lunches but we would not have gone hungry without them. We had plenty of family members who would have kept that from happening if it got to that point. But it was never at that point, in fact I was so picky I rarely ate school lunches. We were never so poor my mom forced me to eat school

Yep. I remember once, when I was maybe 8 or so, I thought, silently to myself, “what if God isn’t real?” I even tested in my own mind saying those words “God isn’t real.” And immediately freaked out and started mentally apologizing, I worried for weeks I was going to hell for denying God.

Oh god this just reminded me of when I was in junior high and we were learning about how the universe was created and on our test so many of us did this insufferable thing where we gave the correct answer but added “but actually God created the Earth” to the end.

Matt Bomer and Neil Patrick Harris are the two I always think of. Jim Parsons is also gay; he is one of the highest paid actors on TV, and his character is straight (I think? He has a girlfriend at least).

I live in Oklahoma and I’ve seen a few actual flags but it’s mostly stickers and decals and stuff.

There was this sign on a marquee in my town: “Trump for President, Hillary for Prison.”

I’ve seen several people say that god has given us Donald Trump to help us get our country back on track.

They really start with the “America is the best! The freest! The most important!” stuff at a young age and many people don’t bother to learn otherwise.

I’m so sad this loophole has been closed and I can’t get out of my student loans by giving the loan company 1% of my very real and very important business, “Fancy Mittens for Fanciful Kittens.”

I love rollercoasters and scary movies but to me they give totally different feelings. With a rollercoaster I am feeling excitement, anticipation, and an adrenaline rush from the actual physical sensations of being on the ride. And those feelings fade fairly quickly after the ride is over.
