This is my favorite story.

Mine was SUPER curly in high school and college but ~4 years ago when I graduated undergrad I chopped it off to a little above shoulder length and since then it’s been wayyy less curly and more wavy. Which I kind of like since it’s easier and cuter in its own way, but I’m also sad about losing my tight curls!

I’m jealous of how nice and easy it will be for you to take care of it. Mine takes two large gobs of conditioner in the shower for me to detangle it. And $30?!?! That’s awesome. One of my best friends is a hairstylist and does my hair but she is more pricey even after giving me a discount.

This is my former roommate’s cat for our Christmas card a little over two years ago. I had forgotten about it til now!

I know someone who didn’t have dental insurance but went to a dentist office and offered to pay in cash if they would give her a check-up and a discount, and they did it. Worth a shot if you have the confidence to try it?

YUP! Seriously considering faking sick on holidays/for family gatherings so I don’t have to see them.

HAHA the random things like her weird accent and semi-sexual comments are the best part! Everything about it is completely unrealistic but it is a TREASURE.

YES. But the best parts are the subtle humor, like the offhand comments, the facial expressions, the random things that happen. It’s very silly but so great.

I didn’t know anything about this movie when it came out but went to see it with my best friend after we had a soccer tournament earlier in the day. Little did we know, it revolved around soccer and a badass girl. IT WAS FATE. The rest is history.

I am 25 years old and this is STILL MY FAVORITE MOVIE OF ALL TIME. I don’t know the lines to any other movie besides this one. I can probably recite the whole thing. It is fucking HILARIOUS and we can’t be friends if you disagree.

I have yet to come across someone that just straight up “hates men” and I’ve been reading/commenting there for over a year. If you’re conflating “men” with “patriarchy,” then maybe you should go read a book.
