Damn it, we almost had a competent third Jodie Whittaker season!

I’d say it shows that Flux was written in a week, but all his other scripts had pretty much the same problems.
I wish he HAD left, his run has been awful. I place the blame for how poorly the seasons with Jodie Whittaker turned out entirely on his shoulders. The buck stops with him.
I have experience of working in a job in historical interpretation where you are expected to remain in character when interacting with visitors and I can tell you that it just completely exhausting. Trying to maintain a character all day is hard enough when In historic costume at a historic site, I can’t imagine what…
What’s so galling is that it doesn’t have to be this way! You can blame production costs or scheduling issues for coming back to Tatooine in Return of the Jedi, but George Lucas had the technology to render any environment he could imagine by the time he began work on the prequels, as we saw in the raging ocean world…
Good luck, and don’t fuck it up.
Our readership has never been afraid to speak its mind
How about this? Have Neo meet the architect at the very end of Reloaded and let him barf out all that exposition at the beginning of Revolutions. That would create 7 months of growing speculation as to WHO the architect really was.
I was fine with the architect scene because I “mapped” it to this scene from Ghost in the Shell. Go to 2:12 :
The second half of the Burly Brawl when it just turns into a poorly-rendered video game cut scene was the most disappointing thing about the movie for me. Especially after months of the Wachowskis building it up. The first part was cool, but then it went off the rails.
Yes, had they just bit the bullet that the real world was another layer of the Matrix then they would have had endless sequel possibilities and the third movie could have been vastly better. Imagine the head spinning possibilities where we never truly know if anyone is in the real world or not? I love it.
I still subscribe to a Matrix within a Matrix theory. With Neo having powers in the “real world” where the rules are set by physics and not programs it doesn’t seem possible yet it is. So the explanation I jump on to is that the “real world” isn’t real just another step down the inception chain.
the sense I got with The Matrix Reloaded is the Wachowskis put all their eggs in the basket of the first film, which is why it was a hit, and for the second, they didn’t quite know what to do
You forgot /s.
The fun thing about being lost in the Delta Quadrant is that there’s no Starfleet oversight and no one will notice if you tweak the logs a bit whenever something morally questionable happens.
this clip is really great, especially that part:
Highly decorated ? Bad enough they made her an Admiral ,...Star fleet really did look the other way
it’s star trek. it’s not dark. I want it to be good. I just hope that they remembered to make the episodes about something. please be good.
Kinda stretching the term "fan favorite"
I don’t know if the bodies are supposed to harken to the Westwood video game, but that’s what I see—and that’s fine! That game is great!
