In all fairness to Gawker they probably did edit it from their earlier draft:
I know right? this is unacceptable..... where the hell is everyone else? Move it people, let’s kick the tire and lite the fires!!!!!!!!!
“my sole experience was in the eighth grade, when a girl named Monique clocked me the fuck out of nowhere as I was showing off the awesome Tamagotchi I had made out of clay in art class”
*Since you edited your comment after I did mine. I’ll add some more. The majority of the atrocities in the middle east are done by those in their own country. The French didn’t go to a restaurant and slaughter civilians while they eat. The deployed soldiers (US, French, British, etc) strategically went in based on…
and if only it were people like you that were the only collateral damage then maybe this wouldn’t be such a big deal.
I like it, I really do. I just can’t justify the $800+$200+tax for the lowest end model when I can get a 2 in 1 for less or even a Macbook air for about the same (give or take $100). Hell if it wasn’t for the fact that my iphone is done in monthly payments on t mobile so I couldn’t see the $750 price tag I don’t think…
It seems him and Wes Siler from indefinitely wild are the only 2 level headed staffers in this circus.
We need to get on this.. My kid brother really wants one.
you do know straw purchases are illegal? A straw purchase is when you legally purchase a firearm for someone who isn’t suppose to have one. So regardless of the amount restrictions, it wouldn’t eliminate the straw purchases.
In a lot of situations a flat head will work on a philips. Especially if the head just sits below enough. It’s not ideal but in an emergency just use care and take it slow.
That’s only in a few states and even then every weapon has a Point of Sale. It can always be traced back. As much as people think we don’t there is a national gun registry of every weapon sold and to whom (NICS, UPIN). As for Mexico that’s already been proven that the US is not the only country they get their firearms…
nowhere did I saw I use my firearms to combat the evil forces of government or that’s my primary reason for owning one. My problem is the government telling me we can’t or shouldn’t have one when our bill of right says we can. sorry If I’m not providing any further response I’ve been at this all day. Just look up some…
I don’t think I’m exaggerating anything. It’s my parent’s country did. they disarmed the citizens to help ensure there was no rebellion.
yes there are tight laws in obtaining a firearm. there are criminal background checks on the state and federal level. I wasn’t able to obtain my first one because someone with a similar name like mine had a record. I had to prove I wasn’t that person.
No of course not, but the first thing a corrupt gov does to keep its population in check is remove their ability to defend them selves.
In all fairness to Adam this is Gizmodo not Gawker. Ultimately you(the writers) are going to write about what gets people to open the posts and gets you paid but it’s just sad that we are loosing more and more places to read up on tech news to this...whatever this is. I don’t even know what to call it. Not trying to…
cool, better safe than sorry. your contractor must love you.
The thing is there are already laws that tightly control the use of firearms. The same as cars, alcohol, and drugs. Yet people still drive cars maliciously and recklessly, people still drink alcohol irresponsibly even illegally, and people still do drugs illegally. What are we going to do make them illegal all…
Wow I read the title wrong and thought to myself we need to up the military budget. That shit looks pathetic. I need coffee.
