Isn’t this show a little young to get mined fir nostalgia?

Paddington 3 looks fucking lit
I love that when Mariner called for the arch to leave the holodeck, she had to step over a black bar, because the real world was in a different aspect ratio!
So, Tatasciore IX... do we just call it “Fred” for short?
I knew it from the moment they said William died that he had faked his death to join Section 31, like this show would let a transporter clone disappear into the background and never use him to explore further into the lore.
Pacifist Worf is the best part.
I am considering this episode to be a companion to Wej Duj, if kinda backwards. That episode gave us “what if Boimler was a Klingon” and “what if Mariner was a Vulcan” and now this episode has given us “what if Worf was an Orion”. Glorious.
As a HUGE DS9 fan this episode sang to me like no tomorrow. “Hear All, Trust Nothing,” is a Rule of Acquisition Sisko reminded Nog about when he asked about the Romulans signing the non aggression pact with the Dominion.
I’d just like to say I never shat on Guy Lombardo.
Hell, we had a president just like him
I usually spot errors in my tweets a few hours later when 1 person likes it.
You, sir, deserve to be a casting agent.
Not how I pictured Francis Xavier Flynn, but I’ll watch this. I hope it’s good enough that they can get to Flecth’s Forntune and Fletch and the Widow Bradley.
It takes on a whole new meaning once you remember where Lorca really came from.
I love that James Cromwell returned to do another Star Trek. Even one that lovingly poked his movie in the ribs. (I laughed a lot at the “one-song jukebox.”) He’s a great forever guest star.
The year before this cameo he had a small role in Undercover Brother where he basically portrayed the personification of whiteness, and his previously-untapped comedic potential was on full display. While not directly playing himself, he was still already poking fun at his (at the time) public image.
The Larry Sanders Show also deserves a lot of credit for warping the celebrity cameo; I think you can find plenty of examples of cameos subverting our public conception of a celebrity since the cameo began, but the NPH-esque, deliberate warping of a celebrity’s public persona has strong roots in Sanders.
I’m 90% sure the Sakaari ship will be tied into the story somehow, and 100% Titania’s entrance will be explained in an episode or two.
It would be incredibly boring if Jen had the exact same challenges as Bruce. The fact she doesn’t struggle with the same things he does opens up different stories for her character.
She’s better at controlling her rage which they explain so this allows her to change at will and she is more flexible. That’s two things. Not “everything”. Please let me know what I missed.
