Part of why I love the Yakuza games so much is the mundane activities. I lived in Korea, China and Thailand over the course of 7 years and playing the Yakuza games makes me very nostalgic of living in gigantic urban settings, something that I done get in the same way with where I live in the states now. Particularly

After the Tim Rogers review dropped, I took it upon myself to ply through it before watching his video series. It was before the big patch, but after some small improvements had been made. And I liked it. Like, a lot. It had problems, combat was so easy it may as well have not been in it, and the skill system was

Yeah, everyone qualifies for nearly a million in financing. Everyone can pay down interest to 1%. Everyone has $47k ready to go. Just be rich and exploit people and you do can live mortgage free. This person is not to be admired.

I could tell this one would need the Ol’ FitGirl trial before giving it any money, and I gotta say, while I sorta love the quirky weird shit like extended scenes of ordering food and whatnot in the intro, I found the gameplay to be unplayable. Like, completely busted beyond repair. Now, maybe it’s due to playing a

I fell off destiny a season or 2 after Shadowkeep, not due to anything more than burnout. I played it A LOT while unemployed for 9 months. I’ve kinda followed it from afar since then, but I’m thinking now might be the time to jump in again, since things seems to be improving and the plot is coming to a conclusion.

I learned about the series from Tim Rogers, whose absolutely bonkers long reviews are as poignant and insightful as they are self indulgent and navel gazing. I love his schtick.

This is the best one of these.

There was already a live action Mario set in a dystopian hellscape. Just saying, a John Leguizamo or Samantha Mathis cameo would have been a nice touch. Also, what was the budget for just a three minute sketch? That seemed like a heck of a lot of CGI.

It seems like live service games can’t live in a saturated market, and that makes sense. When Destiny came out, it was kind of a now thing (not counting MMOs.) that kind of seems how it serviced into destiny 2 and into today, they had enough of an OG audience that stuck with it. There is only so much of the market

I’m rather disappointed that they didn’t raise Tony Jay from the grave for the voice of Donkey Kong, the only true voice of any funny monkeys/apes in video games.

So, the flex is that she had novelty sandals? I get the part where asking someone to show feet is a weird fetish, I guess I just don’t understand where her having fun footwear is somehow her showing people up or calling them out. I would also be happy to show off my dad-joke shoes, I suppose, but I don’t get how this

Should they? Sure. Will they? No. They bought 10 seasons of Rick and Morty and they are gonna squeeze their value you out of it, at least for one more season. If it ends up hurting them, they can drop it anytime, but for now they are looking at their investment and are going to try the damage control route first.

That happened faster than expected. Good.

“Impressive”…ly bland.

So, I was with my improv team (yes, I get how stupid an opener that is) and one of them wanted to check out Velma due to all the they they heard about it. So we popped it on and preceeded to talk about other things over most of it. None of the show was good or bad, it was just flat. Not really worthy of the weird hate

That’s me whenever I use my phone instead of my PC, and it’s got adblockers too, just not as effective as my PC has. What really gets me is when I use someone elses computer, someone that hasn’t put any protections up. It’s completely unusable.

Fandom wikis, which I use what playing on the couch sometimes just because

Yep That dude is indestructible. He’ll probably somehow end up a senator.

You know, for a guy that has shown himself to pretty madia savvy and skilled as presenting himself with a ‘good guy’ image, this seems like a pretty easy land mine to avoid. I mean, even if that’s how you feel, why even say it and ruin your image? This doesn’t help you, it’s not gonna help the Activision thing, it’s

Fair points. They do support games for a long time after release and they do put more care into games than you’d see from similar big publishers like EA. I guess I don’t typically think of Ubisoft as villains in that sense, just really out of touch. Like the uncle that was cool in the 80s but now he still acts the
