i agree, preventative maintenance is huge. even getting a car wash once a month in the winter when there is salt on the roads will save your exhaust system from rotting out. learning how to fix your own car can save you a ton of money especially when it comes to easy things like brakes. get your oil changed on time,

equifax does free monthly trials and it gives a full credit report and all 3 scores. just make sure to cancel before the month is up. i do it every year

i call em eggs in a hole but same exact thing. sorta like the whole soda vs pop thing or atm machine vs mac machine. you could do it with bacon instead of peppers, take some bacon make a circle out of it and hold it together with a toothpick then cook it (bake or fry until not quite done) then pour the egg in and

here are some fun things i dont see often or ever

i play a lot of poker and don't mind throwin down some money on bj and roulette but honestly i bought maybe 3 lottery tickets in my entire life, somehow they never appealed to me. mostly because i see the old pathetic people loitering in the store, scratching at tickets with their dirty finger nails and littering

you can be as much of a slob as you want, no one is arguing that. however this post talks specifically about a shared living situation. if you share an apartment with someone, having piles of your crap in common areas is unacceptable.

you only have once choice - move out or make the slob move out. and there really is no difference between messy and dirty. piles of stuff=dirty. how are you supposed to clean or vacuum when there is stuff everywhere? things have their place, clothes do not belong on the floor, piles of mail and papers are

you have no idea what a dealer paid for the car. the invoice is meaningless, because there are rebates that the dealer gets and holdbacks that you wouldn't know about unless you were the dealer. so i find that something like truecar is a little more helpful when trying to figure out how low you can get the price.

taking away someones license doesn't stop them from driving. he's just gonna do it without a license.

good job dude! and only 2 extra screws left over, im impressed.

you should read what they say about males on jezebel. every time there is a crosspost i use that opportunity to troll them mercilessly. and it works 100% of the time, they just don't learn.

great tip, i always do that, now if i could only find those damn cans.

it's hard to not come off like a troll when commenting on something like this, but really? someone had to spend money researching that walking is better than not walking and stuffing your face with junk? I really hope someone comes out with a study whether it's better to get shot in the face or not get shot in the

I feel like whole foods has what I'd like to call a "70 dollar minimum", that is to say, I can't ever go in there and not spend at least that amount.

nice specs, but the price is scary. i really like the art lebedevesque buttons above the trackad. i would absolutely buy this if the battery life was better and the price was at around 2k.
