“If there were an active resistance against Obama from within his own administration, we’d all be losing our minds.”

That page from Daredevil is from my favorite issue of Nocenti’s stellar Daredevil run, #265, part of Marvel’s Inferno crossover:

I’m going to disagree with eric_tan—I thought Red Sparrow was pretty great thanks to its attempt to be realistic. For instance, the main character never picks up a gun for the entire movie, instead using her intelligence and ability to manipulate people—you know, like a spy. It makes for very tense and chilling scenes

The first one reminds me of a Giger composition (despite what lightninglouie says below about the alien design, which I agree with).

I’d stopped reading comics regularly by the time Cable came around, so I don’t know anything about his backstory, but this demonstrates why I like the current crop of Marvel movies (not just MCU) so much—they’re willing to toss a lot of the built-up lore and cruft and recreate characters afresh. In Deadpool 2, I knew

There’s a scene in which two of the men go on without the third, and they hike through a cave for days, and when they finally emerge, they are back where they started and the third guy tells them only half an hour has passed. Maybe that’s what Randall is referring to?

I’m replaying Fallout 4, and every time I fast-travel back to Sanctuary to stow all the junk, combat armor right legs and short combat rifles I’ve picked up from my latest murder/looting spree, the ghoulified Vault-Tec rep is right there to—once again—tell me that our talk made him feel a lot better. I actually love

I’m guessing Said was going to play Farouk in the past, back when he had a physical body, before it was destroyed and he implanted his mind into baby David. I assume Plaza will still play “Lenny” in the present day.

Hilarious!!

Yes, and I expect to be ignored

That’s fine as long as you never describe yourself as a “sapiosexual.”

Watch the show, ignore the fan base. Actively avoid the fan base. Fan bases ruin everything.

This is very easily explained! Netflix doesn’t mention how many viewers are actually watching these episodes—this whole chart may reflect the viewing habits of just one person, the only Netflix subscriber in the world who is rewatching any Star Trek episodes at all right now. The rest of us are watching BoJack

Trump and his followers only care about who is supposedly a Winner and who is supposedly a Loser. Clooney is reminding everyone that Bannon is a Loser.

Haven’t had a chance to play her reworked version, but yeah, it’s exactly up my alley. I often wind up using my Rez only just one or two teammates at a time anyway!

I usually play Mercy because I’m not very good and I don’t have a problem admitting it. But I don’t do that hide-and-revive stuff. It gives me satisfaction to keep my team mates on the front lines by keeping their health bars topped up, and it also every time I score an assist because I’m damage boosting someone else.

And even then will only be after she removes your stomach and finds it packed full of sweet, sweet ice cream.

You’ll get Corey Stoll.

Seriously, where was he getting a four dollar Lagunitas in San Francisco? Nowhere, that’s where.

Wow. I’m torn between wanting to hate-read the article and not wanting to give HuffPo the click. I’ll have to check the Twitter for further brutal takedowns of Mr. Barry.
