" I tell you, $128 for spending the rest of your life watched by his Steveness?"

Blue wiener, no pants, no thanks.

@EnemaBagJones: Oh, I'll be keeping the Desire for around 2 years... I do so with most of my handsets.

@kozjegyzo: While I'm admiring the keyboard on the Z (5 rows would have been nicer), I'm very happy with my Desire and I'm sure it still has many months left in it yet.

clove.co.uk have the Desire Z for £370 + VAT due on October 6th.

@FredRH: The Handbrake team is moving away from expressing CRF encodes as a percentage, as people invariably think it's measured against the source.

If you're looking for a reasonably powerful, free text editor then it's hard to go past TextWrangler. It's invariably one of my "must install" apps when setting up a new machine.

@obbie: Quoth the raven, "Get off my lawn!"

There are nightly builds available for Handbrake which I highly recommend, especially for Windows users.

@Whitson Gordon: "Functionality to open DVD discs is free and will always stay free." - taken from the MakeMKV's main page.

@CapitalJigga: Handbrake doesn't currently handle SUP subtitles found on Blu-ray discs, but you always have the option of downloading subs in SRT format from somewhere like opensubtitles.org and adding them using Handbrake's "Add external SRT" option.

How on earth is tying knots in your headphones a good idea? Every pair of halfway decent headphones I've ever owned has expressly warned against wrapping or kinking the cable so as to avoid damaging the conductor.
