But when all the apples turn out to be of the red delicious variety.

Remember when you went into a store and you could just feel that the store was dying? If you are really old you felt this way entering a Sears. Then it was Toys R Us. If you are only slightly old, maybe you went into a Circuit City post 2005? Anyway, I think you all know that feeling. You can just tell.

Gen X chiming in: Dad did not apologize for his accusations. Bet.

It’s dead. Good.

Daaaaiisy, daaaaaaaaaaisy...

They missed out on a really great chance to have a truly great arc. It’s right there in the first movie. “I will finish what you started.”

Well shit. Now I want to read it, even knowing it’s bad.

One thing I noticed while watching The Last Starfighter as an adult is how damn good the supporting cast was. Robert Preston and Dan O’Herlihy exude buckets and gobs of warmth and charisma.

And bring back Craig Safan to score it.

It will. Bought a used base 997, had it for 7 years, put 35K on the odometer, sold it for right about what I paid for it. Reliable and solid car. I didn’t worry about IMS failure, just drove it regularly.

honestly, the transmission may be fine, it’s the transmission control module that is set poorly. That same transmission in a different application may perform really well.

The patient saw something in the pus draining from his toe. “Must be wolf spider eggs”, he mused to himself.

All I really got from this is that the Abyss is finally getting a Blu-Ray next year, but for, like, real this time.

I’m one of those “fresh install” believers. Just a wipe of your OS partition and reinstall and everything just seems to run so much better. I feel like Windows gets a hoarder situation going if left unchecked. So every 2 years or so, I just slash-and-burn the whole thing and start over.

I have multiple kids with multiple switches. If I get digital is it locked to one machine?
