Got hit with the fluffy stuff so no Sunday drive today. Video games it is then.
Trying out night sight on the Potato 3. Car looks cleaner than it is so that's nice.
Pretty easy task when you’re a single dude. Dreary day in NJ, but 50 degrees + no rain = Z06.
While running some errands today and picking up some pho to warm the soul, a gentleman came up to me and started asking me about the Legacy GT. Wanted to know what year it was, if it was manual, how it was running, etc.
Gotta pay that Alonso contract. Car to be run by Wayne Taylor Racing! Jordan Taylor and Alonso in same team?! One can hope.
Finally replaced the control arms on the Legacy GT. This ball joint did not want to leave its home in the steering knuckle. Ended up taking the knuckle off the car and putting a new wheel bearing on because, you know, while you got it apart...
So I took my car to the trailhead this past weekend. Fit right in.
Hit a minor milestone tonight.
Trying to replace ball joints on my Legacy GT. Getting the old one out was hard enough but now the new ball joint won’t seat all the way inside the knuckle. Tried putting the jack underneath the ball joint and jacking it up into the knuckle but no luck, it was raising the car off the stands. Any suggestions, Oppo?
Mostly German offerings with a modified Challenger thrown in. I really shouldn’t be car shopping.
Don’t think I’ve seen this color before. Pretty.
Another night drag racing cars that are faster than my beater C5Z. Since NJ had terrible weather all summer, the turnout was pretty big. S8s and RS3s, newer AMGs, BMWs, rat rods, drag bikes... a cornucopia of quick machines.
Have a rad mtb vid. Raw sound, incredible drone shots, one of the fastest enduro riders and even a 911 thrown in for good measure.
Went to the Cake concert. It was awesome.
Auto and Moto potato pics. Some surprising finds and even one with huge historical implications. No, not the Trabant.
I have found it.
And not only did I see this,
