CNN had a clip of Trey Gowdy (who is supposedly coming to work on Trump's defense team) from 2012, and I am paraphrasing here, "just because you control the white house and Congress doesn't mean you can do whatever you want! We have rules!" There's more irony in this than an Alanis Morissette song. 

I bet he doesn't wait for the hearing to end.
