I'm interested in that arcade table, but I don't want to build a table. Is there a way to get the Raspberry Pi to connect to a TV and use an Xbox 360 controller? Is there a good front-end that supports MAME as well as other popular emulators (NES, SNES, etc.)?
You missed the circumstantial factors surrounding the suicide.
all of it. that's how much.
Any thoughts on how long this phase can tend to last?
I would love to have, in windows, the launcher calculator, like spotlight has in OS X.

+1 for VLC and +1 for Songbird
+1 for Zotero as a research assistant. I haven't used Mendeley, but Zotero sure can organize some sources and generate citations. Plus, now you can use it independently of Firefox.
Is there a tool specifically built only for the purpose of cleaning out the context menu?

Not *exactly* on topic but... I heard a rumor that the new Windows 8 will have some more interesting ways to connect with the Xbox360. Does anybody know about that?
I use Windows, and a little while ago I did a write-up of all the apps I could find out there for writing scripts, stage-plays, screenplays and the like. There is a surprisingly large number of options out there for that. [nocategories.net]
Thank you!

Any tips on how to hang things on brick walls without chewing up the brick?
I gotta vote for the Google Books store. It lets you download many of the books, for use on your favorite gizmo, but also their cloud-based reader is pretty decent.
If I'm from out-of-town, I just want to save a buck. I don't really care about accumulating things in a place I'm only visiting.
