While I agree, there is a fine line between plagiarizing or simply re-typing the content of an existing article. It is kind of silly to re-invent the wheel per se. When they care to, they research a topic and get info from several sources and compile it. Clearly this was not one of those times.

Did the IRS change its rules this year? I know that W2s have to be postmarked by 1/31, but my Fidelity and E*TRADE emails say they have until February 18 to get me 1099s. So now I can't file until mid February this year.

Just so you know, not every creditor reports to all 3 bureaus, so it is not uncommon for an account to only show on 1. If you work in a professional environment and/or correspond directly with customers, I think that you should have a minimal greeting/closing. I think emailing a customer or my boss with just the body of the email is rude and I would be put off if I were on the receiving end.
