I've used that one, but some of my friends were getting the texts several hours later that when I sent them.

While I have an iPhone and also Google Voice, most of my friends don't. I have yet to find a reasonable (free) way to send text messages to all my friends (non-technical people) with dumbphones and they can reply no problem . If you know of something, let me know.

Agreed, lack of a card slot and USB is definitely a deal-breaker, well that and it's about $100 to expensive...

Why did it have to be MICRO USB and not Mini-USB that everything else uses!

The phone ones aren't nearly as accurate, but also they're usually dependent on an internet connection for the maps, and if you go 5 miles outside of town, you're out of luck.

I really like #1 especially because it fits my desktop of 2048x1152, but when I try to download it, it 404's, I suspect the site that it comes from is getting Slashdotted and that I should try again in a couple days perhaps.

eBay is the place to get commodity computer parts like any cables. The $25 HDMI cable works just as well as the $5 one. A while ago I needed to iPhone/iPod cables, and Apple wanted a lot for them, and they were only available in white, I was able to get some generic ones on eBay for like $0.50 and got them in black…
