It is SO HARD for me to ask for money. No one ever told me I wasn’t deserving of a raise or anything, but it’s this ingrained thing that my work is only worthy of the leftovers, and I have no right to make demands. Every time money comes up, I disappoint myself with how uncomfortable it makes me.
