Oh man, I forgot about that quote. Gross. I used to be in love with Jake Ryan, too.

Soooo bad. But the Captain America Civil War was awesome, if you want to give a superhero movie another chance.

Restaurant workers don’t get meal breaks, regardless of the law. It’s just not a thing. At least, not at any of the half dozen restaurants and bars I’ve worked at.

The Back to the Future thing has always seriously disturbed me too. Not just for the reasons that you mentioned, but also because immediately post attempted-rape, she and George just waltz into the Enchantment Under the Sea dance! Are you kidding me? If I was 17 years old and a classmate tried to rape me, I would be a

Underappreciated movie.

I watched it and all I could think of was, “there is no way he is hitting her happy place.”

I studied music business in college 10 years ago. Touring has always been the best way for artists to make money, because record sales are taken by the record companies to recoup advances/studio fees/pressing/packaging, but tour sales are not.

Sploosh!

This doesn’t seem to be about “It’s my body, I’ll do what I want when I want”. It’s about letting pregnant women decide what is responsible behavior for them and their unborn children. I feel comfortable saying the vast majority of pregnant women have the best interests of the fetuses they’re growing at heart.

I really can’t hear the name Diplo without thinking of Duplos.

Right? Celebrities not taking themselves too seriously? I’m all about it. Plus, no one will ever malign Hiddles around me without some blowback.

Half of her Instagram comments lately have been people telling her how awful it is. I actually think it’s cute. But her overall look at the Met Gala was no good.

Ethan Embry in Can’t Hardly Wait gave me all the tingles. Adorable, goofy, sensitive. I was soooo into it.

Nicole Kidman!! Amazing amazing amazing.

My wonderful 63 year old mama would say “Eat shit and die.”

Maybe I misread this, but I took her meaning to be anti-draft in general, saying that she’d prefer people who voluntarily enlisted rather than those who were forced into it, regardless of gender.

I just can’t imagine a situation in which we’d need a draft. Wars aren’t fought with millions of ground troops anymore. They’re fought with technology, manned by well trained soldiers who want to be soldiers. (Obviously that’s a massive simplification.) But I say abolish the draft entirely.

I’ve wondered if I should try senna in the same way you do. There are times when it can be 3-5 days without a “movement”, and it is the worst. I obviously don’t want to cause any damage, but I’ve wondered if on day 3 or 4 I should try it. But I definitely don’t need to make my chronic constipation any worse.

Zing!
