At the same time, though, waiting so long made his return even more satisfying, and made his goodbye to Janey-E even more sad. Like, it’s frustrating to watch, and I imagine it’ll only get more tiring when you rewatch it knowing how it all ends, but it definitely had a purpose.

If they gave it another year before release, I wonder how it would have been received. The incremental improvements were tremendous.
