I do have to wonder how Eddie plays into this though. Not only does he share the same last name, but the show made it a point of having Eddie be spared for no apparent reason, than further underlining that point with him asking why he was spared. Clearly there's something there.

This was an unbelievable episode. A imo. 2 straight weeks now of great episodes. This is really such a good show already.

I'm not quite sure how syndication works, but I'd imagine the more episodes, the more cash money. And they usually say somewhere upwards of 80 is the magical syndication number I think.

Great review as always Dr. Jacoby. Really enjoyed this episode.

Definitely. I think the show was sold to audiences as a guilty pleasure kind of watch, with beautiful actors and actresses dressing in period costume and engaging in all sorts of teen drama and romance. Not to mention the central CW-mandated Vampire Diaries-esque Love Triangle- which apparently is something the show

I'm going to ignore the rape for now. As Caroline and other commenters have stated, we will have to wait and see for how it is dealt with. This is not to say that I think it really had a place on this kind of show. What I will say is what happened to my fun-loving guilty pleasure Reign? I want my Pagan blood cults

What an awesome episode. I have to agree the only thing holding it back was how quickly Finn's massacre of unarmed people was brushed over, but I'm hoping that will come back up as it was clear everybody was in a rush to save the 47 at Mount Weather and Finn is still useful as a tracker.

As a big fan of both Reign and the 100, I'm hoping both shows manage to survive. The CW has 4 midseason shows coming on, so here's hoping they all suck and do terrible numbers so both Reign and the 100 can survive.

Haven't read through the comments yet, but anyone else find it funny/borderline offensive that in 2 weeks where the team is put in danger, it happens to the 2 african-american team members who happen to be the least developed and get the least amount of story time out of the whole cast? I just find it sort of odd how

Pretty sure Caitlyn was moving towards Barry to kiss him before they were interrupted by Cisco at the beginning. I'm glad for that, if only because I can't stand Barry/Iris. Definitely seems like they are gonna explore that a little now, which I think is a good idea.

I loved this show so much last year. Which has made this year such a disappointment and slog to get through. They really need to rebuild and burn most of it to the ground imo. Katrina, Abraham, and Hawley need to go. Not everything needs to tie back to Henry. And stop with this redemption bs. You're right- This

Bash/Kenna was pretty much my favorite thing on the show (besides for insane pantsless King Henry and everything Megan Follows) last season. And it seems like I'm not alone in that thinking.

On a side note, the ratings are not looking good for Reign. The only thing it has going for it is its episode count is higher than its competition on the CW which puts it closer to syndication numbers. It's going to be a very close call between Reign, Jane the Virgin, and the 100 which of those shows gets cancelled.

Agree that the twins/Gemini reveal was a pretty awesome way to converge several storylines. Good way of after the fact justifying Luke and Liv sticking around with basiclaly no storyline or reason to exist.

I thought the religious stuff was very cool. Still disappointed in the direction this season has taken. There are too many tertiary characters taking up too much screentime and plot lines, and as a result the core cast which we grew to love has been very under-served.

Oh, still need to do something about those freaking flashbacks too. They are so boring. I understand they're probably gonna tie in in a big way to the main plot this year with Sara's murder/Ras Al Ghul (by the way, I'm 100% thinking Talia is the killer), but it's such a waste of time.

I really enjoyed the episode, but man was that Diggle stuff bad. He's been so out of character all season. But at the very least, I'm glad they cut Laurel out (Did anyone miss her and Ted Grant? No freaking way. She is ruining the show this year imo) and got back to the core relationships of Ollie, Felicity, Dig,

Again, I don't know what the reviewer wants from this show. You keep saying these relationships are unearned, but whether you like it or not, the show builds them up. You might disagree with the execution, but there is no question that Jasper has a crush on Maya. Have you ignored all the cutesy scenes between them?

I thought it was pretty obvious Ward killed his parents. You might be right that there's some sort of twist down the line, but based on what we see this episode it seems pretty straightforward that Ward did it, as not only did the taped confession his brother made to him appear as a frame job, but we have the end of

It seems like the CW predetermined love interest is always bland as hell. I really don't get it. Going back to Smallville, Lana was always the least interesting character on that show. Laurel definitely so on Arrow. And now Iris on Arrow.
