I bought a used 2019 Expedition last week. Did all the deal over the phone and internet and put $500 down on a credit card to hold it for me until I could get down and pick it up two days later.

I just bought a loaded 2019 Ford Expedition Limited Monday. I got a smoking deal on it considering it had only 2,960 miles on it. But, the kicker was they gave me $12k for my 2015 Pathfinder. I was pretty happy with that value.
Reply All podcast has a great episode on the deal that was made and how it would obviously NOT be good for the residents in this Wisconsin town. I highly recommend listening to it: https://gimletmedia.com/shows/reply-all/wbhjwd
My story is very similar to yours. But, mine starts out with me driving to school and hearing about the first plane hitting while listening to Bob & Tom on the radio. Then, just before I got to school, the second plane hits. By the time I get to my first class, it’s become pretty apparent that something major was up…
Same. I’m still rocking my iPhone 7 Plus. Other than a slight degradation in battery life, it still performs great, receives updates, and runs all apps I have tried/need/wanted.
I had a 2012 Fusion for a while and liked it as my daily commuter. When I ended up buy my 2015 Hyundai Genesis, it came down to it and a Fusion Energi. I ended up not getting the Fusion because for less money, I got way more options on my used Genesis and the big thing to me was the pathetic range of 19 miles on…

Damn it, beat me to it!
Yup. Had a 2013 Altima. At 110,000 the CVT started to shit the bed. My wife has a 2015 Pathfinder we plan on getting rid of in the spring because I’m terrified what will happen to the CVT when it gets to about 100,000. Those things are the devils play things.
I’m pretty handy. Five months ago I replaced the radiator fan assembly in my wife’s 2015 Pathfinder.
Neutral:
So, when are you heading to Chicago to pick it back up? You know you want to....
I live in Spring Hill, TN but have nothing to do with the GM plant here. People seem pretty pissed (understandably so) about the third shift loss.
WFH has been great for almost three months, now. My company has some plans to allow up to 50% back in the office starting next week. But, if you do not want to, you do not have to and can continue working at home.
I’m in this exact same boat. I commute 30 miles each way. I can plug in and charge for free at my office. I’d love to have a truck for weekend fun and occasional hauling for projects. But, the cost and mileage right now outweigh that need. I can rent one for when I really need one.
Ziplock bags! This is what I came here to post. One of our kids was car sick TWICE this weekend. Both times, she got it ALL into ziplock bags. As long as they’re old enough, this is the way to handle a car-sick-prone kid (or adult!).
Fuck these full time AirBnB hosts. These dicks buying up properties are what drive up housing prices in cities. Hopefully this will force them to sell and maybe affordable housing will come back to cities.
I wouldn’t say he’s an idiot. He is definitely an asshole (look at how he treated his first wife), but I don’t think he’s an idiot.
My neighbor is a district sales rep for Audi. He’s usually traveling to the various Audi dealers 50% of his time. He’s now at home until further notice. He said this week has been so slow, he’s not even sure what he should be doing while sitting at his computer. Cars aren’t moving so he has nothing to do.
$19.99 is the perfect, sweet spot for me. I have a family of four. So, $20 for all four of us to watch it? Plus cost of a couple bags of microwaved popcorn and some cans of cokes? I’ll be saving at least $40.
