My current commute of 32 miles, one way, is the longest I’ve had. I’ve been doing it for 6 years now with no plans to change. I drive into Nashville from south of the city every day at about 5:15 AM. It takes about 35 minutes.

You said to buy the 128GB iPhone 11 in black on Verizon. But, then recommend the 256GB in the “Why 256GB?” section

This is nice and almost enough to get me back into iPads.  But, I REALLY need mouse/cursor support.  I do too many things (Excel mostly) to give that up entirely.  I’ll have to stick with my Surface until mouse input gets supported.

2015 Hyundai Genesis. The front turn signals burn out VERY quickly due to an engineering flaw where the wiring harness is setup for the two-pin bulbs and but the current goes to the bulb constantly and too-high so the bulbs burn out and cause the inside of the harness to burn up, too.

Thanks!

Thanks!

How long do these things charges last with just sitting in your car somewhere? I may not need it for a year or two. Do I need worry about periodically taking it out and recharging it?

Your Nissan CVT comment gained you a star from me.  I had a 2012 Altima.  CVT started acting up.  Nissan could not figure it out.  I dumped that car post-haste.

We are starting to look for a replacement car for my wife and I’m fighting the same battle, trying to get her to like Kia or Hyundai. I bought a used Genesis a few months back and that has helped. But, she just does NOT like the face this is still a “Hyundai” while my car is a “Genesis.” She’s starting to come around,

The price is now in the article.  It was not when the article first posted (and when I made this comment).

It does now.  It did not when it first posted.  I DO like the price, though.

So, it’s not ALL the details. It’s missing one of the biggest: price.

Real question: Why would someone go to the ER when the suspect bronchitis? ER’s are for emergencies. I just got over bronchitis myself and while I did feel horrible, the two times I had to get medical attention for it was dealt with at a convenient care clinic.

$10 per person, per day tip is insane. When I travel with my wife and two kids, there is no way I’m tipping $40 to have my bed made and fresh towels left in the room.

When the Supersonics moved to Oklahoma City, they became the Thunder because of the “thunderous noise” that the test flights produced.  At least that was the working theory on some podcast I recently listened to.  99% Invisible podcast, if I remember correctly.

Thank you.  I was wondering this as that is the law where I live as well.

I read that sentence in a Christopher Walken voice in my head.

I really like Edge.  The main thing preventing me from using it all of the time is I have a hosted Jira instance.  I don’t want to pay $10 extra per month for a decent reporting add-on for Jira so I use a free Chrome extension called Jira Assistant.  If the developer would port it to Edge, I’d throw the guy some more

This. I generally fall on the side of libertarianism/conservative. Apple is a private company. They can choose to allow or disallow whatever they want*.

I was on CrashPlan as well.  I just switched to using Amazon Glacier for my cold storage.  It’s a little more tricky to get going, but it’s worked well so far.  I believe they offer the ability to send in an external drive to seed your backup.  I did not do this, but it seems I remember reading that it was an option.

I just recently revamped my approach.
