Yeah, I very frequently find myself skipping the scenes with Liz.

Ideally, I'd like Blacklist to be Red, Tom, Dembe and agent Navabi jetsetting around the world and doing their thing.

And by "good" you mean "more boring because the thread won't blow up"? ;-)

I could do without Liz or "Bland Standard Issue FBI Dude #15212", and have the show just be Red, Tom, Dembe and agent Navabi running around the world doing their thing.

Not a problem. It took me about three times of reading your post to really notice, so I get where you're coming from. Cheers! :-)

Yes, I am. It's not that I didn't (or don't) think of it as rape. I do.

Yeah, based on what we know at this point, something along those lines seems like the most probably path to me as well at the moment.

Well, it's illegal here too (although I don't think it should be, I don't think it's the state's business telling consenting adults who they are and are not allowed to fuck), but I don't actually think it tells me everything about Jamie's character which I need to know. Parts of the story, sure, but not all of it.

What I found so silly about that scene is that it was so awkward that it didn't even occur to me that it might be shocking to somebody while I was watching it.

I'd say there's a difference between "being better" and "not being evil" though. I can be better than some other asshole, but still be evil. Or less extreme: I can help improve the situation on racism, making things better, without fully solving it. Maybe in a few hundred years. Maybe not.

Assuming that was consensual, I wouldn't really consider that to be that big of a deal. Incest between consenting adults… eh, big whoops, I don't care.

As much as I enjoy looking at gorgeous naked women, I find the questions you mention absolutely retarded. She did her job, she showed some boobies, big whoops.

There is nothing to be ashamed of in wanting to see a gorgeous lady naked in my book. And holy smokes, is she ever!

is the show that coined the term "sexploitation" for fuck's sake.

Wendy's the best!

Yup, same here. That was just awesome.

As tropey as the fake argument was, I enjoyed the crap out of that and couldn't stop laughing. I'd love to see some outtakes of that scene.

I've always figured that the season would have Bobby winning until the finale, then be dealt a serious blow (either judicially and/or personally), and S2 then deals with the aftermath.

Yeah, I'd read about the rubber band contraption thingy, and that too seemed pretty contrived to me, so it's not like what they did in this adaption is a big step down for me or anything like that. Still, it seemed really weird. And great point about practicing it. Seems a bit… tricky.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure me not enjoying it (at least the parts I saw) is primarily a matter of my personality not meshing well with the show, not necessarily the show being actually bad. Ah well, maybe at some point I might give it another shot, see if things have changed. If not, such is life.
