I've never understood why so many dealers actually seem to want to spend an inordinate amount of time with any buyer. If you walk into a dealer and give them a reasonable offer they should jump on it, take the quick sale and move on. Perhaps a little less profit in the individual sale but make a lot more in volume and

Because you couldn't use it like an actual truck. The lowest payload and trailering capacity of any light truck, I would think. It doesn't really look like a truck though I'm sure it has many good qualities like those you mention, and it's a Honda.
Girls Softball teams sure seem love the hell out of the Ridgeline

I still think that the US relaunch of Alfa with a small (and pricy for what it is) sports car is the wrong way to go. Combine that with them being attached to Maserati dealers and locations in mostly high end areas and people are going to perceive them as some sort of Boutique automaker. I dont think you can expect

Subaru BRZ/Scion FR-S/Toyota GT-86 vs....... Nissan 370Z!

though as I watch Free Practice now, I at least like hearing Hobbs and Matchett ripping Marussia and the concept of paid drivers in general and saying it casts a bad light on F1. I feel like people in the sport gloss over that way too much.

its unfortunate that this is really the ugly side of racing. Its not just F1. its all of racing. I keep dreaming about a time when sponsorship money comes flooding back in and TV ratings go through the roof and the best talent get the seats they deserve. but, its unlikely to see that in any racing league again, ever.

Funny, I specifically look for cars without a sunroof. Less weight, less complexity, more headroom.

I'll say what I've always said when it comes to self-driving cars. The ONLY way I will buy one by choice is if I can use it to *legally* drive me home from the bar. If I have to be awake, alert, and sober when I'm the solo occupant, it's worthless to me.

I just want a 240Z :(

So a G37...you want a G37. That's basically a G37.

I just want my IDx

Sprint Cup cars.

The point I was trying to make is that for a car like this with so few miles, with the 'little' damage the seller is claiming, it would be VERY unlikely an insurance company would have totaled it and sold it for salvage. Maybe an adjuster didn't know what they were doing when they looked at it, but it raises all sorts

If all the damage was cosmetic, it would not have had a salvage title to begin with. An insurance company would not write off the car for something so easily repairable. If there was structural or engine damage, maybe, but not for swapping some body panels and some paint.

This one!

I bet 20 years from now it will be looked back on in the same way the AE86 is now. It can be ridiculously modded if that suits your fancy, but it doesn't need it to be an amazing car.

This car does not need more power.

If someone is buying a Toyobaru with the intention of going fast in a straight line, or even discussing straight line speed/power, then they are looking at the wrong car. Look at the car it's modeled after, the AE86 has never been marketed as a "fast" car. With a maximum 128bhp stock, I don't think anyone has that

When I see assertions that a certain attainable, every-day usable, light sports car needs more power, I see a dude-bro thinking "Man, I really like this car, but I wish I was paying more for insurance."

Yeah it's really unfortunate that the only full size wagons we can get are European and as a result quite expensive.
