They do well at both CR and Tire Rack. I’ve been using a mix of General and Michelin tires on my cars, and they’ve all been very good. Of course, you’re going to believe what you want to believe.

Sure you do.
We’re waiting. Don’t be shy. Go ahead.
Lol. You just blew any credibility you had trying to say JD Power does it better.
Not nearly as much as I like, I’m sure, but even if it’s a teeny tiny bit I’ll be happy.
Not wasting my time, especially since I see one of the links misspelled “consumer”, and one looks like a Ford dealer which let’s be honest, has no skin in the game.
Sorry, I’m going to take CR over some rando on the internet. I fully admit they’re not perfect, but point me to someone that does what they do better.
The website is much more useful. My fault, I didn’t say that. The magazine was the best tool for many things before the website came along, and the website was pretty clunky for a few years.
No, because they have a degreed statistician running their program. You’re just talking a lot of bs without backing it up in any way other than “Trust me”.
That’s exactly what he is. Just another CR hater full of crap. CR is far from perfect, but if you know how to use them, they are probably the best guide to cars that people actually buy instead of the aspirational top of the line stuff that most other people test, but very few people actually buy.
If you’re a subscriber you can ignore the overall rating, and read their road tests and look at the ratings of specific things and make your own judgement.
I don’t believe you.
Prove it.
They base that on it using proven tech that has been reliable in the past. I admit I am suspicious of those ratings, and I think they occasionally get it wrong.
I understand your point of view, and don’t entirely disagree, but I’ve found YouTube video incredibly valuable for doing basic maintenance on my cars.
See if Michelin Crossclimates are available for your car. They are currently the best 4 season(not all season) tires available, can handle snow like a winter tire while being a good touring tire for the other seasons.
Not true. Michelin almost always leads in every category, and when they don’t, they are close. That being said General and/or Continental almost always have something reasonably competitive at a lower price.
The Kinergys are actually 4 season tires, they handle winter/snow better than traditional all seasons and are severe winter rated. Michelin Crossclimates are they same kind of tire, and are noticeably better and more expensive.
If they were more reliable, I’d be on board with this. They seem to be really nice cars otherwise.
Uhhh.....
