Other exhibits pop up from time to time as well. The Field Museum had one a few years back and the Art Institute had (has? Not sure if it is a permanent exhibit) some panels from a Tea House that was on Wooded Island in the lagoon south of the Palace of Fine Arts/Museum of Science and Industry. IIRC, someone found them

Sure, but that’s more due to kevin Feige's restraining order than anything else.

Breakfast is a big profit meal for all restaurants. The usual ingredients, especially eggs, are cheap and even the breakfast meats aren’t all that expensive compared to things like beef.  The prep is usually less involved than for lunches or dinners.

Nope. They just use lecithin from a different plant. I can’t find ingredient lists for most of them, but Vegalene lists “sunflower lecithin.”

But “Gator” doesn’t rhyme with “Lyle.

Yup. I’ve seen too many kitchens with high end range tops like Wolf, Thermador, or Viking and they are “vented” by a small microwave or nothing at all. Most of them are so pristinely clean and unscathed that I am pretty sure they have never been used.

I am a medical oncologist, not a pathologist.

You (and honestly, most other people) need a better vent. The hood is probably the most neglected appliance in most home kitchens.

I know a guy who can help you with that.

To get items for customers, they will need to hire back all the people they replaced with self checkout.

I feel like a lot of these “shortage coming!” stories are purely artificial and are designed to justify price increases or convince people to stock up NOW! so the corporations that make the product can get your money sooner.

I like the size.  One is a good side dish for two people.  It is hard to find a butternut squash that small.  Butternut keeps well, but then we are having squash every week for a month.

I mean, they made the show to be watched by as many people as possible.  Many people watched the show.  They...should be unhappy about that?

They were all pretty bad.

Yeah, I thought we would see him as a truly bad person who abused her much worse than they have shown, she would flee, and the last episode would cover the fallout of all that and tie everything up.

Shai Hulud! They are making shows based on the Kevin Anderson/Brian Herbert books? That won’t go well.

The amazing part of this is that Republicans tend to be white and rural, two things that make you less likely to die of COVID.

As someone who can’t stand country music, I wholeheartedly agree with this recommendation. I watched it because my wife loves country and I like Ken Burns.  I was very pleasantly surprised.

...says the site reporting on every single banal tidbit at least twice.

Trader Joe’s produce selection does vary by location, but it varies from “nearly non-existent” to “merely inadequate.”  You are right that TJ’s is a snack store, not a grocery store.
