Star Trek comic book canonicity has always been confusing and iffy at best. What a mess

I just find the discourse around superhero adaptations and the supposed deconstruction of superheroes puzzling. As a medium, comic books and it’s adaptations have been deconstructing the superhero since the 1980s.

How can we genuinely call The Boys a breath of fresh air when all we’ve been doing since the 80s is  deconstructing superheroes?

As a Lakers hater this has been one of the funniest, best seasons in the history of the sport. Magic’s untimely resignation shakes me to my very core.

My ideal casting would be Cary Elwes

Ichiro is my favorite baseball player and he didn’t even play on my team.

Ichiro is and has been my favorite baseball player since I was 8 years old. Today has been a very bittersweet day for me. My only regret is Ichiro never played for my favorite team. I hope he finds something cool to do after baseball

Unless you’re a Californian who has been dealing with her at state level office since 2011

Man, this comment section really can be just people jerking themselves off to see who’s most grown up.

me too chief, i ain’t murdered anyone yet.

I can see why that is an argument, but if you play the game it’s very different.

mate, i don’t know how to explain to a presumably reasonable adult that cameras exist in buildings and that footage can be grabbed with a warrant

Unless Oscar Isaac is gonna be The Batman we’re all wasting our times here.

come catch hands at a punk show

Welcome back, Mike. You’ve definitely been in my prayers, which as a sunshine Catholic may have actually been to your detriment.

Hey Josh!

I don’t know why we give LeBron credit for dragging this cleveland team when he engineered this cleveland team. There’s no chance Wiggins wouldn’t have been more useful than Kevin Love

It’s hard to call a season long stat a cherry pick considering it consists of, you know, the whole season.

You were so so so so close.

As much as I despise Rick and Morty (and I do) Dan’s writing about mental health has always been spot on. I’m a huge fan of his, going back to Community. Harmontown is a fascinating look into depression as well. It’s nice to see my mental health issues reflected in a way I can relate to.
