FYI. Last time I saw treasury data total debt is at $13.5 T.

Priorities... You have a pretty expensive mortgage and more than one car. I have only one expensive fun car and a cheap house.

I bought my current car in Boston, I live in NY. The tax and title was handled in NY at the DMV. What happened is I bought the car at the dealer. Then I drove my trade to the border while the salesman followed in my new car on a dealer plate. At the Albany DMV we did the title transfer paperwork, I paid taxes and then

I hope they cut the cake with a guillotine.

Wouldn’t a “Holy Grail” engine be something that runs on water, unicorn farts, or puppy dreams? We’re still talking about fossil fuel ICE here. It’s clever, but it’s not a game changer. I don't get the hype here.

If everyone wants crossovers, what Tesla needs is to get the model Y out. Then they should see real demand. It's probably more important than a cheaper sedan.

Interesting... I have more problems with the interior design.

Yeah I had my doubts when I got my TTS, but the haldex has been pretty good. In snow it will kick out the rear end and drift nicely. At autox it wasn't understeering uncontrollably. The RS has a better diff so it's probably even more enjoyable.

Exactly, my TTS lives in Buffalo. The 2+2 also means I can take my dog places and it’s livable as my only car. A Cayman is a second car. Real hard comparison with the M2, that's basically just a subjective call.

IIRC this is how the Toyota TSO40 lmp1 car did its hybrid power. Harvest into a supercap and then use it as a booster. So certainly a viable idea, just hasn’t been done on a full EV. Probably bonkers expensive and/or fragile setup with current tech.

Remember to duck afterward.

As someone with a narrow urban driveway and fence gate to pass through. I feel your pain.

we bringing back GT1 yet

Ive got a 2017. The virtual cockpit is wonderful in practice. I thought I would miss real gauges but amazingly the screen took no time to get used to, it’s especially dreamy with the nav flanking the speedo.

Removing the center stack entirely by also putting the HVAC controls in the vents was also brilliant.

I have one. The market is people that want a 2+2 sports car but can’t afford a 911.

Here here. I always wonder if these people are also hung up on the resale value of thier phone, laptop, TV, washing machine, refrigerator, or other civilized niceity that we all use in daily life. Don't worry about the next owner, worry about getting good value for yourself.

This is really a why not both situation. I’m from Buffalo and DD a Miata for 6 years through all weather. Yes it did fine on snow tires but the TTS I replaced it with is a monster on snows. I just drove through PA on Sunday after that storm we got last weekend like it was rain. Quattro plus 300hp never had any whif of

Seriously... My brain didn't process the R until I saw it in caps.

With the giant wing that is a great GTS-R throwback.
