Arkansas, Alabama and Texas are in the developing world??

What the Heisenberg compensators was not explainy enough for you?

Yes that is one of the biggest problems with the casting. In the original series Kirk is already a grown man who’s actually risen through the ranks and was a bit of a nerd in school. In the new movies he’s a punk frat boy kid that somehow just gets handed command.

Sorry as a lifetime trekkie I had my troubles with the latest Star Trek movie, having said that though I must quarrel with you. You went through being a trekkie and the latest one is the one that embarrasses you? Really? You thought it sucked more than half of Voyager? How about Star Trek Generations? For god sakes,

You know as much as I hate saying this, the adaptations show that the Dune series is best left as books. They are pretty close to being unfilmable if you are trying to stay faithful to the source material.

Sorry what was the comment above? I have this condition where I black out and forget when people say things that are completely and totally nonsensical and in complete contradiction with reality.

Alderaan shot first! Haha I love it!

I am an embarrassed child of the 80's who didn't think of that until he started reading the comments... *shame*

I think the better lesson is that Nature likes to defy our definitions and gives not one f**k about them. For instance, Ceres a planet or not? Well ok, we're finding these Kuiper belt objects so we'll say it needs to clear its orbital path for it to be a planet. At the rate we're finding other worlds around out

Like the man said, refusing to believe that the Dune miniseries aired count?

Keep you out of trouble?

Shoot shouldn't they be suing Germany for putting Lenin and the Bolsheviks in Russia during WWI?

Well if they are like us, I don't likely want to meet them. I read my history and I don't want to repeat the story of the Native Americans after Columbus.

I'll just leave this here...

Hmmm... a little less murdery, unless there is a director's cut of Its A Wonderful Life where Mr. Potter gets whats coming to him.

I only regret that I have but one rec to give to that post. Well done sir! Well done!

Well since military lasers are in the infrared range, its nice to know you might see something as you melt.

No kidding... they sure seem to enjoy messing with Russians.

Yeah the Argo was pretty badass... ;)
