We knew this weeks ago, and people still threw $60 at it. Can’t fix stupid.

Artificial scarcity. You could just sell shoes at a reasonable price in stores. OR you can hype them up as a limited exclusive, make people fight over them and jack the prices so high you can make the same amount of money while actually making far less product- and virtually guarantee you’ll move the whole run.

I still don’t understand why anyone expected AOC, Tlaib, or Omar to endorse anyone else. Or wait until the primary for that matter. I’m still left wondering why this is news. I thought they had already endorsed Bernie until this became “A Big Deal”.

The only interest I have is whether this makes a major difference in

But AOC wasn’t crediting Bernie for CHIP.

HRC garnered more votes in 2016 than any candidate in history

I believe the idea behind AOC mentioning she has to use CHIP as a child is that if we had a proper health care system that wasn’t for profit and everyone had access to get the care they need CHIP wouldn’t be needed. CHIP does a good thing but it shouldn’t be needed because access to health care should be a basic human

Lifelong integrity in the fight is something important Bern has over Warren. It’s hard to trust politicians, so it’s hard for many to get behind someone who changed her views sooooo drastically

But AOC wasn’t crediting Bernie with CHIP. She was crediting Bernie for advocating for single-payer at a time when CHIP was the only thing that assured that she had insurance.

She didn't credit him... she said he was fighting for single payer while she was on chip

Except that he was literally arrested during a civil rights protest in Chicago when he was 21.

Neera Tandeen of the Center for American Progress took particular issue with a moment during Ocasio-Cortez’s endorsement speech in which she said, “When I was a child that relied on CHIP so that I could see a doctor, Bernie Sanders fought for a single-payer healthcare system.”

I too knew those guys in college, but doesn’t Bernie have a very long history of activism, protesting, and organizing?

“Is ideology more important than race and gender? Genuinely curious.”

now-deleted tweet from Jane Eisner, the director of academic affairs at the Graduate School of Journalism at Columbia University, who offered the following in response to Ocasio-Cortez and Ilhan Omar’s endorsements of Sanders: “I find it fascinating that women of color overlook female and minority candidates to

I’m going to pretty much cut and paste my rant from yesterday.

You, clearly.

ok, but why do we owe him any respect for it?

Yours speak for themselves too, and they don’t sound great.

Running directly to the “unhinged” attack absent tractable evidence says an awful lot, but I’m just gonna go ahead and let your comments speak for themselves.

He’s not obligated—he just made a big deal out of it and tried to parade his relationship-focued purity as an excuse for what is, at its base, sexist bullshit.

Stream with whomever you want—just don’t offer some Mike Pence level horseshit as an excuse and expect people to applaud you for it.
