I doubt this is a great idea but I still really, really want to ride one.

Ah, yes, but he said an *American* highway. Very different to the rutted single lane tracks you get in all those, uh, other countries, 3rd world countries Paris and Africa. Seriously, this belief that American roads are so different to those in the rest of the world does my head in, it’s just not true, and neither is

As somebody else pointed out, Roma and Romanian are not the same things. Also, you are racist so fuck you.

In my experience, as an English speaker who really struggles with languages, people in France are plenty cool with you provided they can see that you’re making an effort. A bit of “Bonjour, monsiur”, a few numbers and bothering to try and pronounce place names properly and people are perfectly nice to me.

America. Y U no understand WW2?

In America communist doesn’t mean what it means in the rest of the world, it just means Not America. I don’t get it either.

This has been my experience in the UK, too. Very occasionally I’ll see an American truck or maybe a Mustang, but exclusively in the hands of enthusiasts. More common in Poland/Czech Republic, though, especially Rams as it happens.

Well thanks for your informative reply all the same. Kosher salt is not a product I see on the shelves here in the UK, but I can buy sea salt flakes (possibly the same or similar) that have become my absolute favorite thing for getting pork skin to crackle.

That would be more defies its brands heritage. Japan and pickup trucks go together like, well, not America and pickup trucks, and maybe not quite America and apple pie, maybe America and pizza? Yeah, America and pizza.

That sounds beautiful

That box truck. I bet that thing has done some wheelies.

Depends what you mean by modern?

Shhh. You're not supposed to tell the yanks about the Defenders.

How much air can you get in it?

I've started seeing increasing numbers of Great Wall pickups over here in the UK but I haven't spotted any other Chinese (or Chinese badged, rather, we've got a Chinese car that's badged as an MG) vehicles on the road. I'd really like to do Top Gear test it against similar trucks from Nissan, Toyota, Isuzu etc but I

I was gonna mention Dick Lovett. It's just down the road from me.

This is a site about cars and shit. We like talking about cars and shit.

"I was scared of the naked man so I used my car as a weapon" This is not acceptable.

With a rolled R. Yeah, I'm with you, it's definitely an oo sound not an aa sound. Actually, the more I think about it the more I think that Subaru actually own the archetypal vroom. I'm going with vroom.
