Cata is distinct for one very clear reason: it was the start of the nerfing of the overall difficulty.

I love Cataclysm. As someone who played from day 1, some of the most fun I had was in Cata. That being said, there is no possible way to logically call it part of “Classic WoW”. It both figuratively and LITERALLY destroyed old WoW, ushering in the new era. It may as well have been called World of Warcraft 2.
I love the shit out of esports. I love the shit out of Overwatch, play the hell out of it, and am literally wearing an Overwatch jacket right now... But I cannot stand watching tournaments for it. The formatting is just awful, and it’s impossible to see at a team level what is REALLY going on right now. The colors are…
I still hear Rebecca Black’s “Friday” refrain in my head years later. That does not mean that it was a solid musical performance. Your logic is faulty.
He meant real games that will actually be released, and work.
You can get a lot more inventory space pretty easily, the game just doesn’t tell you how.
the world neither noticed nor gave a damn.
6 Torbs is the worst example you could have picked. 6 Torbs, even in a bottleneck is amazing easy to counter. You see it, die once, switch to two Reins, and literally anything else with decent ranged damage, and roll over them.
That is too much text, Blizzard.
Can’t say I agree. It came across to me very much as “I knew they were coming, and I was smart enough to know that if you waited until they showed up, Ramsay would see them and not come outside, and we would have a protracted siege.”
You’ve got the quote from Liana Stark totally wrong. Turned up the volume this morning, and she very clearly says “If Robert finds out, he’ll kill him” first.
LOL what? She literally says “I’m sorry I didn’t tell you about Littlefinger and the knights”
Depends on your definition of successful. Even with way lower operating costs due to basically ignoring any regulation, they are hemorrhaging money, burning through literal BILLIONS of dollars of losses. They are continuing to take in money to subsidize the rate charged to customers, since with the prices they are…
A setback on “one of the potential candidate materials” kinda is a dealbreaker for the concept of space elevators (at least as far as the realm of realistic possibilities in the foreseeable future), seeing as the entire concept this whole time has relied on “Maybe, someday, this best possible material that mostly…
I think that you may be the first person to ever call Oklahoma “The Midwest”.
Heroes of the Storm is pretty meh. It tried to grab onto the MOBA train and didn’t quite make it. Blizz did their trademark “Take a genre, grab all of the good stuff from other games, leave out the flaws, make the perfect game for that genre” and failed. Beyond just not having a real hook to make people want to play…
I see your reasoning, but in this case it doesn’t work out that way for Overwatch. Blizzard’s mantra is “Easy to learn, hard to master” and they repeat it over and over again.
The promo itself is really terrible, but making fun of anime fans is always a good idea, and appreciated. It’s about the only thing this did right.
If by “dead”, you actually mean “Still tied for the number 1 largest source of power production for the US”, then yes.
Wait, what? It’s on sale right now, and goes live in like an hour.
