You have an AWD Subaru and garaged it all winter?!

I don’t attend meets and GTGs either. I’m mainly just an asshole in the FB group itself and that’s about it, lol.

I’m living in California. Used to enjoy driving my Lexus IS350. Hit the pump and a fill-up is $70.

I bought a Honda Civic just this morning to help me not think of how much I pay at the pump. I’m definitely looking into buying an EV now.

I just paid $50 to fill up my compact Audi A4 with Premium Unleaded. At this rate my next car will definitely be an EV because it just feels like I’m throwing money away at this point.

Not at all. They spoke about the ‘potential’ for 2200 hp. They did not say the engine is at that tune.

It’s amazing how much people like to hate on Tesla. I think they’re lacking a true corporate focus (luxury vs mass-market, can’t really do both) but otherwise deliver a substantially good product. Now that gas prices are entering the stratosphere, maybe demand will tick up.

You ain’t kidding! I found my dream Mustang for a great price on cars.com here in Chicago like half a year ago, but I checked the carfax and saw it was auctioned from Florida right after hurricane Irma. Nevermind!

more importantly, i don’t understand why, when the no front plate states are a minority, that auto makers don’t design front plates into the fronts of all cars

I used to race at a local 1/4 mile short track in the late 90’s/early 00’s. In a tight pack it wasn’t always easy to guess who the flag man was pointing at. A rolled up black flag pointed at you was a warning, you didn’t have to exit the track. So if you were against the wall as you passed under the flag stand, he Read more

This is amateur racing, after all. It’s not like we’re racing for the Winston Million here. There were no stakes except the competitive spirit. No one’s going to look down on a fellow racer who took himself out of the running because he saw a black flag and thought it was meant for him. Lots of drivers are going to Read more
