I feel ya man. I still have old school gauges/lighting in my 08 Z4. No screen either and I can see perfectly fine until other cars with LEDs HIDs or Xenon lights are coming my way. Then I’m blinded for a few secs because my car sits so low to the ground. I’m thinking about getting a light tint for my front windshield, Read more

That’d be awesome. My GF’s 2014 Kia Optima Hybrid EX has the DRLs that when turned on light up the rear lights as well. Pretty convenient if you ask me except the fact that you have to physically choose DRL instead of being auto-on all the time.

Agreed. I bought an 08 Z4 Roadster, and while I’m not screaming fuck gas mileage I’m still not flooring every two seconds and wasting gas like an idiot.

But that’s not what the rules of the road say.. Should horse-carriage vehicles not be allowed on the road then? What about slow farm vehicles? Should we ban those too? How about Semi’s on residential streets going super slow blocking traffic, should we not allow those too?

Come to Chicago then you’ll get almost ran over every two seconds. Actually pedestrians play frogger here. On my commute home from Downtown Chicago I nearly run over 3-5 people as they run across the streets like chickens w.o their heads, and then get pissed off when I honk at them and flick them off.

For real! CTA in Chicago is terrible and we are not as populated as NYC. I used to take the train to the loop from Wicker Park’s blue line, and sometimes I’d have to skip 3-4 trains because they were packed to the brim like sardines. Granted they passed every 3-6 minutes yet all cars were packed. Imagine an accident Read more

I was saying the same shit in another post on Jalop, and someone was on my ass for not reading the whole article and being anti-tariff.. haha! People are so gullible.

I live in Chicago, and my girlfriend and I decided that we wanted to take a late night drive.. I decided to head to Indiana, and we stopped by Gary and holy shit man.. Gary looks like a third-world country.  We pulled over by one of the factories where they make steel to take pictures at like 11 pm at night, and one Read more

I read that part, but honestly every-time the government asks for more money for roadwork etc.. it tends to not make a note-able difference. You should see our potholes in Chicago. Geez, my daily commute has hundreds of huge potholes, and we pay a shit ton of taxes here. I tend to drive in a freakin’ zig-zag avoiding Read more

I always carry my AUX cord when I rent cars through Zipcar. Much easier than pairing your phone esp since no one wipes their phones off the bluetooth, and you spend 5 minutes just wiping a phone to pair yours.

Yeah I really doubt that the money is going to be used to fix the roads.. More like its going to go to politician pockets.. smh.

That actually happened at my office. An chick made a comment saying how she hated white people. Someone from the team complained and went straight to HR. HR had her out the door in like 2 hours after they interviewed a few more people.. its sad when you have racist folks working w. you. Makes the atmosphere kinda Read more

Geez, if you commute to work 5 days per week and pay that much that’s about 10k per year man. That’s a new whip. You must have a well paying job to afford that.

Most cars come with that option.  My girlfriend’s Kia Optima does it where you press the volume button for a couple of seconds and it turns off the screen.. well it gives you a analog clock. looks classy.

I doubt that man. I bought a 10 year old BMW Z4 because of how fun it is to have RWD. Its not the fastest nor nicest BMW, but man that thing takes corners like a champ, and breaking the tail loose is fun as hell and scary.
