Suikoden II seemed to be the best console rpg of all time, until ... I don’t know anymore what happened last, I think Nanaki (that’s the name of your sister right?) got captured. I don’t know, suddenly I could go to tons of places and the story was nowhere to be seen, because I had to recruit like 200 people into my

Thüringen? Dresden? Zu faul zum googlen, aber zum hier posten und vielleicht später die Antwort lesen reichts :-)

Yeah, I bet you also have no rocket to escape asteroids, Madtownswingers?

I fail to see how that stuff is supposed to help when the earthquake would destroy that much. And if you survive the quake itself, the guy with the gun will take your stuff. Granted that’s mostly a problem of the States, most other countries aren’t as crazy.

“scaring the crap out of Americans nationwide” So people from other countries over there and Americans beside people from the States keep their head? Not that I’m surprised...

racist...

The best mixed drink with mead is, imho, Weizen ( I don’t know what it would be called in english, pale wheat beer maybe?) with mead, around 1:1. Best out of a horn, and I’m not talking about a drinking horn. Put a horn to your lips, sound a call, make a friend fill the stuff into the horn while you’re still sounding

I can see the appeal of this kind of humor, I have laughed about stuff like this myself. Granted most older Adam Sandlers are too much, but some a just funny. And Click for example was an effective blend of sappy movie and funny movie.

Watch Darkness Falls. Yeah it’s not a good movie, but it’s really effective, and one can see how a monster that can only attack in darkness can be dangerous like hell.

Ok, maybe I wouldn’t like a “real” Godzilla movie, but Godzilla (2014) is an awesome (literally) movie. But yeah, what made Monsters good makes Godzilla so amazing. The monsters are just forces of nature, in whose face human beings are nothing.

Hmm, when Arnie is on screen, or at least on scene, Genysis is a really fun movie. Even when he is on screen and they talk rubbish, he at least makes a joke at the end. But when he isn’t on screen the other two start talking and it sucks.

Wow, cool your horses. Is peeve something bad? I thought it meant something that just bugs someone, wether it’s a real problem or not.

Lists like these without Europa Universalis IV, Portal and Deus Ex are always a bit fishy. But since the list is of games that are relatively new, it is ok :-)

Just remember that it is a series (not everything is explained in the first book), and that it’s YA (plot and structure, beeing a good read, is way more important than depth and details).

That’s because the Reckoners are YA.

The thing with Sanderson is that the big picture makes absolute sense in the end. In the second book your peeve is addressed way more than in the first.

In germany their not only starting, they’re in the middle. Feels like beginning of the noughties, though, nothings working right.

Oh please, why can’t people just accept that there are two genders (and arguably more), and that generalization in this department is about as useful as national, racial, and any number of -ials and -isms. It ranges from really good (maternity leave/ different conditions on paternity and maternity leave) over not

Good old, traditional japanese blowtorches, pneumatic hammers and steel anvils...

Well, Miss Marple and Columbo are there but the other detective heroes of my youth are missing: Kalle Blomqvist, Emil (of “Emil und die Detektive”) and Father Brown. Emil isn’t eerily intelligent, granted :-)
