Now this is the kind of super-car I’d like to own (Not that I’d ever be able to own one as I am smack dab in the middle of ‘middle class’). It’s effectively a track car. No fancy features, extra knobs or dials, but only stuff that will make it go faster. It reminds me a lot the Ferrari F40.

I get that in planetary orbit, there is no up/down. But the orientation of solar systems and galaxies are still planar, right? Unless you want to go sailing into the black, you’re still essentially moving in 2D, no?

I can make a plan for 50 cents.

Thinking about the climactic moments of The Obsolete Man sends a chill down my spine. It was a frightening display of what “trial by jury” could mean in an ultra-fascist state and also a brilliantly theatrical concept of the kind we don’t often see on TV these days.

It should be noted that electromagnetic induction is not “digital”. Digital systems are binary electronics invented early in the 20th century. Computer chips and most logic circuits are digital systems.

Who cares? Outside of the realm of forced-to business travellers, who the actual fucks in their right minds would travel to the US?

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

Social Security needs to be reworked into Financial Security. Instead of your money be paid in to a pot to be paid out to someone else, the money is put into an account you own and can invest as you see fit (within financially sound limits). A small percentage (1 or 2 percent maybe) would be taken to contribute to

Whoa... So some people in the USA do understand that you can’t keep expecting to have the same job you’ve always had and need to move on instead of whining and throwing a tantrum (and voting for Trump who promises to somehow keep your dead job alive).

To me the 6 should be a grand tourer, along the lines of a DB11.

In the original story, people were emigrating off-world to the point where Earth’s population was shrinking, and the ones who were left were those who didn’t pass the screening, and it was alluded to in the film. This was why people had whole buildings to themselves. It may well be that by the time 2049 rolled around,

This is what they should be doing in F1.

I once went to a meeting of a group made up of physicians again nuclear war. It was in the 80s and I still remember two things they said vividly. They said they would run out of morphine to give burned survivors almost immediately, and something about the reflection from a nuclear flash off of bricks causing blindness

This is totally unrealistic. Not a single Super Mutant anywhere.

It’s a baby Graboid from the movie Tremors.

I presumed it retracted down to just the handle.

Lol. These guys routinely let loose with AK and RPG fire if you refuse to stop. I can say with certainty that if someone cuts loose at me with automatic rifle or anti tank rocket fire and I have access to a rifle I’m going to unload right back.

Yeah, there is a reason vigilantism is a fine fantasy but a bad idea in real life.

I’m not disagreeing with you there. But I’d rather have that than coal (or even natural gas).
