Are you nuts? Lobbying includes a great feature; educating a politician on an issue. Yes, it is abused, but don’t throw out the baby with the bathwater. If we rely SOLELY on the politician’s own knowledge to craft important legislation, then were screwed as a society.

Rather than burn a newspaper, why not craft a responding op-ed? Don’t like that someone thinks that way? Change their mind.
