He is an absolutely vile character in that show but he’s so damn charming you start to fall for him. Tennant basically Kilgraves the audience.

I picked up Dr. Who during college back in the early-oo’s. Eccleston was the first Doctor I ever saw, and he was fine—very different from the rest of the Doctors (as I’ve come to learn). However, Tennant is, will forever remain my Doctor. Holy shit he was good.
This post was exactly tailored to my interests and I APPRECIATE IT. I still haven’t watched Jessica Jones, although I’m dying to, because I just can’t stand to see him play a truly malevolent character.
And this needs to be the objective of both the Democratic AND Republican party to completely remove all of the Trump taint from politics. It’s not enough to oust him, or even to take legal action against him after-the-matter.
Right. Unfortunately, Trump is one of the many faces of our country- he is a daily reminder of why we can't stop fighting to attain or maintain equal treatment for those who are persecuted by people like him- if his ideas were unpopular, he would not be where he is now.
Trump is a virulent racist and bigot. And millions of people voted for him. You can debate how many voted for him explicitly because of his racism but all who support him are and always have been complicit. The only thing Trump has been consistently honest about is what a garbage human he is. He never stops telling us…
You are an American hero
I did a reverse Becky/Karen today! O yes I did!
Playing dress up, acting silly, and reading. Sounds like wholesome children’s entertainment to me.
I’ve got a theory: it could be bunnies the reason there’s a rise in legislative attacks on trans people is that between plastic surgery and puberty blockers, there are a lot of attractive men and women walking around who weren’t always men or women. Most of us don’t know and if we did wouldn’t care (privates should be…
Mom late with your pudding again...the struggle is real
If someone has gone through puberty as a biological male, then their lung size, bone density and muscle mass will be an advantage forever. Testosterone is certainly a big part of the picture, but it’s only one piece.
How come you never hear about Boys complaining about trans athletes beating them. Maybe it is because they don’t since they are disadvantaged by being biologically female for their entire life until their gender change and thus don’t get the phical development of biological males.
It’s hard to get onboard with this take, having been a competitive athlete. It would be kind of the same feeling as lining up against someone who’s been doping—it doesn’t feel fair in a different way than them having more money, better coaching, better genetics, etc etc. might feel unfair. It’s just not comparable. I…
I 100% believe these girls who were born as boys identify as female and are trans.
Even while I was hesitating clicking on the article in the first, I still ended up being utterly baffled by the really twisted logic here. And before anything else, I still have not seen a definite or, to be honest, even indicative research on what is the benefit, if any, of transathletes have in their sports,…
Trans women are women. They deserve recognition as such in the way they interact with the government, for employment opportunities and for educational opportunities. They deserve dignity, and respect.
Maybe, but she would still have biological advantages that can’t be countered like a larger lung capacity, a larger heart, stronger bone density, and longer arms and legs relative to body size, which testosterone doesn’t effect. I know I’ll probably get reamed for this, but honestly I struggle with how to balance…
Instead of grass she prefers running on terfs.
I get why ABC didn’t air it. I also more than suspect Frida counted on them not airing it and brilliantly getting more free publicity out of this than any Oscar commercial could ever get them.
