Thanks.

Ah c'mon, just once, I wanted to pay homage to Marie. That character is so underrated.

Thank you.

Holy shit, your grandpa sounds like a badass!

I don't know if you've watched Utopia but there were TWO people from that show in State of Play. It's dorky of me, but I was pretty excited, even with all the other awesome people (BILL NIGHY!!) What's funny is that I don't think the two actors share scenes in either show.

Did someone call?

Forgot to add that I managed to squeeze in State of Play, the miniseries, in the past week. Astoundingly good. And my god, Kelly Macdonald has the most glorious accent.

Summer is almost over. I hope your summers were good.

I'm so disappointed, that show was my childhood!

As with Biz Markie's "Just a Friend," I'm very charmed by the awkward vocal stylings of "He Needs Me."

Jaundice is the least of it. I can't believe they only have four fingers on each hand.

At least you tried. That's all anyone can—or rather, should—ask of you.

I think any time that a boy gets hooked on reading it's a good thing. I think my only quibble is that your brother doesn't seem to think of manga as reading, whereas I feel like any bit of reading helps. Even, for example, having the kid read features on Gameological would be good, I think. Graphic novels and comic

And Gandolfini was so wonderful in In the Loop.

Man, this is just a reminder that I'm really weak on Asian cinema.

Damnit I keep meaning to go see A Most Wanted Man, why does life keep getting in the way??

I'm often baffled by the pic they choose for these posts. Personally, I would have loved to see Peter Capaldi's face.

Really like it! Obviously Breaking Bad is one of the greatest TV shows ever made so this doesn't compare, but I'm genuinely enjoying it. For a telenovela, this one is remarkably restrained and high quality, especially the acting. Totally worth checking out at least a few eps.

LOL is there any staff member knowledgeable about that sort of stuff? If there is, I'd love to see that feature, that band is awesome and I'm sad as fuck about Cerati too. :(

What @mandaliet:disqus said. It's been airing on network TV, on Unimás, but the eps show up about a week later on Hulu. The eps only have Spanish subtitles but if you've seen it in English it won't be hard to follow because, as you may see from the quote above, it's basically word-for-word.
