Yeah, that's a classic example of "We're doing it just because it sounds cool." Although apparently, the tiger was capable of digesting undead corpses just fine, without getting sick.

Nothing memorable? NOTHING MEMORABLE?!?!
One does not simply walk into marriage.
Wrong guy.
"I ain't gonna tell you nothin', but I do will, but I know, yeah…"
It's actually more like a 2-hour-long jam, and the videographer and photographer entirely ignore it, because it has nothing to do with the main event and just slows everything down.
Yeah, to me, the characters were just weird….and that was it. Starting around Season 2, they became weird, but lovably so.
See, I disagree. But then, I was also coming off of watching the shittastic final season of How I Met Your Mother, so it may have made the Parks & Rec final season just that much more enjoyable.
To be fair, the first season isn't so much "rough" as much as it is "not really what you'll be getting into later." It's just not really representative of the show, in my opinion. In the first season, the show is perhaps less sympathetic to the characters and is more content to show them as purely weird, allowing…
Ohhhh, that makes more sense. Thanks!
Oh, I agree about the shifting continuity, which is a big part of why I'm fine with a more unified approach that wipes the slate clean. But the "legacy" imprint allows us to play around in "alternate universes" which is good enough for me.
I think we'll see a good bit more popping back in. The old West End Games source book stuff (which we've already seen some of), etc.
Ah, I see what you mean. I found the EU to be a very, very mixed bag, to the point where I'm happy to throw the baby out with the bathwater. From my perspective, they were always more likely to incorporate the world-building aspects of the EU rather than the specific plot points or characters. Although Rebels has…
Not to be a dick here, but…who cares? I mean, sure, it's incredibly impressive that four people could make a game like this, but that in and of itself does not convince me to pull the trigger and spend $60 for a game that many have described as "an inch deep, and a mile wide." If anything, it tells me not to buy,…
Are you referring to Rogue Squadron or the old Larry Holland X-Wing/TIE Fighter/X-Wing Alliance series?
I forget where it was posted, but there was an article that came out a little while after LucasArts had finally been shuttered which detailed the dying days of the company. It was…eye-opening and depressing, to say the least. Lucas actually got himself involved in the running of the company, but mostly only to the…
Why? I mean, the canonicity of a particular game is ultimately irrelevant except insofar as it influences future development. Like, I wouldn't care if Jaxxon was suddenly rendered canonical, if that only takes the form of a tweet from Pablo Hidalgo saying "Jaxxon is canonical" and never went any further.
The backstory on development for 1313 was that it wasn't always supposed to be about Boba Fett. That was yet another thing down to Lucas' meddling.
So then what the hell did I get the GOG version for?!
Right. I seem to remember a few other alterations. They worked fine, of course, but even so, the story is pretty complex and dense. And I think a decent portion of it ends up lost in the translation to the screen, and likely would for any such translation.
